I'm a bassist of 5 years. I recently acquired a cheap Jasmine acoustic guitar because I felt like learning it. The strings on it were dead as a doornail and kind of dirty but I replaced them with these and they gave the guitar new life. I love it now.I found these strings make it easier to form bar chords and just to play in general. They sound great and now I can't put my guitar down. I definitely recommend these.

.I have probably used about every type of acoustic guitar string made in the last 40 years that I have been a musician and I can honestly say that these martin M350 phosphor bronze guitar strings are the best sounding that I have ever used. the clarity of tone and punch you get are great . I fingerpick a lot and for country and blues these strings are great!

.These phosphor bronze strings definitely last longer than any 80/20 strings that I have used. My estimate is that I get about three times the life out of a set of phosphor strings than the 80/20.
Although these strings are light, I have not had any abnormal issues with breakages. Some breakages are prone to occur with any strings, and these seem to be fairly sturdy. Sound great, and have more of a rustic tone than 80/20 strings, which I think sound too bright and metallic. You would not be disappointed with these.

.These strings are great! I have a Alvarez 5020S from the early nineties. I replace the badly worn out saddle with a tusq saddle and with Martin's medium .013-.056 strings. I was not happy with the sound and the feel and tone of the strings. I lowered the string action on the saddle and replace the strings with Martin's Extra light .010-.047, WOW! what a difference. A deep rich tone, bass and treble and awesome harmonics and fuzz free. I will use these strings again. I'm very happy and satisfied with the quality, response and brilliance these strings delivered.

.After trying many, many different brands I finally settled on the Martin Phosphor Bronze Extra Light strings for my acoustic needs. The gauges for each individual string is perfect for my playing style, which is mostly blues and original music. Bright sounding, long lasting, awesomely priced (from Custom Guitar's Friend) and made by Martin. These will be my strings of choice for years to come.

.I have found these strings to be one of the best for my electric acoustics. Where I can control low, mid, high range with my amp and a mixer I just don't need a heavier string. If you do the same, these strings will perform well.

.I put these on my Alvarez acoustic last night and it sounded better than it has in a long time. My preferred style of playing is fingerpicking, and these are the best!! The description is right on, deep, rich basses and clear, bright trebles.Excellent strings to slap on an acoustic. Highly recommended for any guitar style playing, but especially fingerstyle.

.I Bought these strings as part of a setup for a guitar to be used by a new student (ie extra light). I was surprised at the tone and volume of the three lower strings. I have had other brands that were fairly weak on the bass sounds on a extra light set. I had no problem with stringing or tuning. Each string is separately packed in a clearly marked paper sleeve, so there is no confusing as to which string goes where. As to the longevity of the strings, I assume they will hold up well; because the other Martin strings that I have used, have done well. This set of strings went with the guitar to the student in just a couple of days.
