I have used these strings for several years. They are the best I've ever used. I am a musician and change strings approximately every month. These have never let me down. .I've been using these strings for over thirty years now and they are like part of me. I use them on both of my accoustics, a Martin HD-28 and a Giannini AWS-76. I've never been disappointed with them and breakages are rare.

.Bright highs with no harshness but the lows are not as full. Overall it favors medium to high sound. Have used these strings many times over the years. The quality is consistantly high, even at this exceptional price.

.G string popped during 1st tuning right at the tuning peg. I have a nice Larivee with high quality tuners and I've been at this for over 15 years so believe me when I tell you: these strings are absolute crap.They sounded nice for the 5 minutes of tuning/playing/tuning until it popped. I thought the fancy name on the box meant quality, I won't make that mistake again.

.I have been stringing guitars for 5 years so I highly doubt it is my method that made these strings horrible. The 1st string broke right after stringing as I was tuning. The 4th string broke 2 days later. After inspecting the other strings they looked like they were about to pop so I took them off, straightened one out and it just broke apart.
