Professional musician for over 25 years. After trying every major brand of acoustic guitar strings out there, I finally settled on Martin strings. Sure, there are other strings that are made to sound brighter, or coated to sound crisp longer... but I feel those strings alter the natural sound of the acoustic. .These strings are brilliant. They really make your guitar sing. Every note on the fretboard sounds beautiful and I'm hearing harmonics that I wasn't able to pick up before with other strings. These Martins are also pretty great about holding their tunes. They seem to be pretty long lasting as well. I was a little wary about using different string than I usually do (mine were out of stock) but now I'm so glad that I did. These strings are giving my 7-year-old guitar some new life.
