i own a lo-end classical guitar that i use for different songs & projects. I purchased these primarily for the ball ends as I don't like the idea of tying the ends. These strings made my guitar sound 100% better than the ones that came with the guitar. I plan on buying more of these & I also want to try the regular tension. Excellent Strings.

.I purchased 3 sets of these. Within the first hour of receiving them, I broke the high E string in 2 of the sets. I was careful to tighten them slowly and still had them break. The second one broke while the guitar was not even being played. I got it up to pitch, played for a while, set it down, and 5 minutes later I heard it snap. There has to be some brand that does not have this problem. I won't buy anymore of these. They are crap.

.These are the worst sounding strings I've put on any of my guitars, ever! They only lasted a week and a half before the windings were coming off the D and A strings! Perfect example of "you get what you pay for" Ugh!

.Definitely buying more, might give them away as Christmas presents this year. No kidding, that good. So, uh, if you get like 10 sets of strings in your stocking, you know who posted this review, guys ;-)
Silver/nylon doesn't start looking "cruddy" as fast as phosphor-bronze/nylon and is easy on the fingers and smooth as silk,
After a "normal" break in (put them on one day, brought just up to tune, left it alone until ready to play with it a few days later) they stretched very little after that, no more than "fresh" steel acoustic strings.
Amazing price for such a great set of strings.

. These strings are like stringing your guitar with rubber bands. After a few weeks they are still stretching. Now the high E has broken while resting in the case. Apparently Martin is not into nylon strings very well. I'll not be buying any more of these.

.I have a very low end classical guitar, horrible action ( in my opinion ) awkward size, just not amazing, by any means. When I put these strings on it though.. IT WAS GLORIOUS. I will never buy a different brand of nylon strings again. I am set.

.despite previous reviews, these are the best classical guitar strings ive used if used correctly. they set very quickly and keep a beautiful tone for months.
