This is another excellent Martin guitar. The finish and construction are first rate and the GPC size is very comfortable. A solid mahogany guitar can sometimes be too bright , but this Martin has a rich bottom end just like the rosewood models and has a full balanced tone. .This is a beautiful guitar and has a great warm sound. The Martin craftsmanship is very impressive. I bought this guitar as an "open box" item at a discount price, and was hesitant to do so. The defect was listed as "small ding on lower back binding." Since this guitar was purchased as my weekend gig guitar, I figured I wouldn't care if it had a small blemish on it since it will be picking up some along the way anyway. When it arrived, I looked and looked for the blemish on the back of the guitar. Sure enough, there was a very, very tiny ding in the finish. So small you really couldn't even see it. I would highly recommend buying an open box item. You will not be disappointed.
