Hello, Went to my local music store and salesman offered me a deal on the AD200, 410/115 stack. Nice looking, fit and finish very good. Price outstanding. I played through the stack, very tasty. Then I plugged my 1973 Sunn Model T(4 x 6550) amplifier into same cabinets. NO SALE!The Sunn Model T blew it away and salesman was savy enough to hear it as well. $3K is a great price for the AD200 and 115 and 410 Orange cabinets.It is a good amp just not BALLSY enough for this jaded bassist. .i played this through a stack at my local music shop and was loving it till i saw the price tag. for that much you can buy an ampeg SVT setup or a nice Eden setup. and get way more watts. you kind of have to prove yourself before you start charging so much for your product. i dont care if these were made by ex-marshall amp makers...that price is the deal breaker.

.As the title states, this head is with me till the end. I will suggest trying out different cab combos and maybe play around with what type of tubes fit your needs best (Not a huge fan of the newer Orange cabs I've come across). Regardless, I've been hooked since it came out of the box.
Look, If you're looking to have as many pedals to mold your sound as your guitar player, buy another head. This thing has ONLY the knobs you need, but so much personality it's unbelievable. ?From smooth grooves to slap to old school drive, this amp rings in perfection. I've heard many people talk about it having only 200W, but this amp has conquered any and all size venues I've played, no matter what cab combo you play through. It's flexible, simple, and to the point.
It's built like a tank to protect all the internal glories.
I'm not going to lie, when I saw the price for the head, I was slightly taken aback.

.It's very expensive and it doesn't have very many knobs but lordy this is the ultimate bass amp. it's amazing how much personality you can get out of this. if you want to be kim deal, this plus a fender or rickenbacker (i have a 4003) is the perfect amp. it's unbelievably loud and pair it with the ported 15 inch cabinet, and you will move serious air. very warm and buttery smooth yet at the same time you can get really punchy and even a bit of snarl and some distortion going depending on how you twirl the very few knobs it has. it's best for indie bands, but it does equally well for metal. it's so expensive, but this is the best bass amp i've ever encountered so save your pennies.
