Lots of people are interested in how this thing stacks up against the driverack, so here is the scoop.First of all, the fully adjustable crossover settings are unbeatable because you can come up with any routing option imagineable with ease. This blows the driverack out of the water. Also, from what I can tell the autoEQ works so much better than the driverack, a major plus. The best feature, and the most disappointing feature, however, is the computer GUI interface. It is relatively easy to use, much easier than using the unit's (or the driverack's) multi-function button. In short, I love the thing. Unfortunately, Peavey never finished making it. The software is only in its beta stage and doesn't actually control the unit at all. Instead, you have to save the presets and put them on a flash drive which may or may not properly upload to the unit.If Peavey finishes what they started on the VSX 26 (or the vsx 48, which they still haven't shipped) then they will have two of the best units out there for true speaker management. This product is worth the money, though, even if the software never gets finished.Peavey VSX 26 3 In - 6 Out Loudspeaker Management System
.I bought one of these when they first came out. I was baffled by the GUI at first, but finally caught on. It is fairly easy once you get the hang of it. I have updated the firmware once, have not had a lick of problems with the software. It is built like a tank, but does not have a power on/off switch. NOTE: this unit WILL NOT talk to unbalanced equipment. I have a pair of Crown D150A series II amps and I have to use a ART 311 crossover inbetween my mixer and these amps. Peavey doesn't mention this fact in their literature, I learned it the hard way and finally on the internet. There is a tiny idle quantization noise in the unit, but not a problem for PA use.
