These units are an excellent choice for the DJ or Custom Guitar doing smaller rooms. They will easily take more power than they are rated for, if you use a clean amplifier (Anything with 100 db S/N ratio or better). We often use them for shows (DJ with PV118s) with Peavey Subs. Vocals are very clear. The fabric cab get torn or peeled off - use industrial contact cement to repair. I prefer these over the PR's as they are still a wood composite cabinet (Still a more solid sound) If you don't want to lift 50+ pound onto a stand, go with the PR115's. .The speakers when i put them under a load a light goes on but that is for the HF horn but if you blow the light it take a 1156 12v light to replace it and the horn works again in all I love my new peaveys

.haven't used them out at a gig yet but hooked them up to a full pa and they seem to be ok. I'm not blown away by them but for the price so far they seem pretty good. Too early to tell.
