Peavey proudly introduces the new XR1220P powered mixer. Designed for versatility in live performance and sound reinforcement applications, the new XR1220 features a dual 600-watt power amplifier that can be summed to the main output (1200 watts) or used independently to power mains and monitors at 600 watts each. Each standard channel includes an XLR input and 1 „ 4" line input, as well as a 1 „ 4" channel insert. It has gain adjustment, 80Hz low-cut switch, two monitor sends, EFX send, and low, mid low, mid high and high equalization controls. Two stereo channels feature dual 1„4" and RCA inputs, respectively, and XLR inputs.
The master section features digital 9-band graphic EQ for both output amplifiers, with a built-in Realtime Analyzer that analyzes the room and sets the EQ curves automatically when a microphone is connected to its XLR input. The master section also includes a built-in patented Feedback Ferret digital feedback elimination and a digital effects section that includes a range of reverbs, delays, compression and chorus with preset storage. The dual auto-EQ and Feedback Ferret can be assigned to two outputs; left and right, main and monitor, and monitor 1 and 2.
Feedback Ferret applies sophisticated, narrow "smart" filters that find, lock and suppress offending frequencies before human ears can even detect them through virtually instantaneous notching with incremental attenuation to eliminate the feedback. The algorithm continuously checks and rechecks the problem frequencies and then releases the filters when it no longer detects feedback.

We bought one of these mixers last year to provide the sound for the equivalent of a small rock concert. The board is easily transportable and provides an easy enough interface for a student (who has read the manual) like myself to run it. The best part about the mixer is that it is light enough to move around, yet durable enough that it has never failed us. Overall a good product for a high school music department.Peavey XR 1220 Powered Mixer
.I have been in the business for over 40 years I am a musician as well as a sound technician. This board well perform flawlessly if the user "READS' and use's this unit as described and it comes with a manual on disc.So in my oppion if you operate this board correctly you will have many year's of professional sound, but use pro speaker's and amp's with this system to get the best performance.

.Thanks for the great deal on this powered mixer! It arrived at my door yesterday. I set it up, turned it on... and WOW! This thing is amazing - once I dialed everything in, it sounded so clear... CD quality. I run the sound through my Peavey PR15 2-way loud speakers and Peavey 12M floor monitors - and I cannot say enough about how great the sound it. I bought this to power & mix some up coming medium sized gigs and I'm more than confident that I have sufficient sound/power... maybe too much... but that cerainly isn't a bad thing. Great job Peavey and great price MF.

.The people saying this blew up on them were probably maxing out the power from the mixer... If you want louder, buy the power amp to power your speakers don't rely on the power from the mixer and this thing will do WONDERS!! I run this to power my monitors Peavey PV115s and use power amps to power my SP2's and SP 118s, an ALL peavey setup and I couldn't be happier this mixer brings everything together well.

.I bought this board to use with a working three piece classic rock and rockin' blues band to power Turbosound speakers and it sounds awesome. It is the clearest our P.A. has ever sounded. It is well balanced and has more than enough power for what we need in the average bar. I added a Crown XLS2000 to power the subs from the dedicated sub output on the board and we get plenty of low end support and thump from the kick drum. The power amps are easy to configure if subs are not needed, the controls are very simple to use and it has some really great features. This thing is amazing and I am very happy with the purchase.

.We are a 5 piece cover band and were looking to upgrade our entire sound system (from Phonic 740 with Phonic 15" mains) so we got one of these paired with two Peavey PV215s. We were lacking the power and versatility we needed for a 5 piece band (limited inputs, limited controls, limited power). With this mixer, we are able to mic our drums, electric guitar, bass, two acoustic guitars, 3 mics and still have plenty of inputs and power to spare. With our first gig after the purchase, our regular crowd said it is the best we've ever sounded. It was also the loudest (all of our ears were ringing the next day).

.We purchased this unit for our church sound system. It fits the purpose to a "T". Provides all the channels we need and lots of control over the sound.
