Im a stickler when it comes to sound issues. We only sing at small to medium size churches (10-300 people) and we couldnt ask for a better device than this. This mixer is easy to use, fast set up, and makes us sound as professional as anyone. The effects and features are great. It gives us more than enough power to fill up a room filled with people, and clean crisp power at that. for small groups with a tight budget, this is a "must have" piece of equipment. It has inputs for a powered or passive (unpowered) monitor. .I didn't care for it at all, it didn't have half the power that I thought it would have judging from the great build up Peavey has on it, after fooling with it for a half hour I unhooked it, boxed it back up and called MF, they said send it back for a full refund. so I did, I'll continue using the old Peavey XR 600 which sounds & works great even tho it looks like it has been dragged behind a pick up truck.

.I was surprised at the power from this light weight unit... half the weight of the XR640 it replaced...It's loaded with features not found on the XR units... As a DJ for fifteen years, the weight is a nice surprise since I move around a lot... I usually set-up 4 speakers, 2 in front and 2 on each side, so only 1 main speaker output and 1 monitor makes me run a lot longer speaker wires to chain them together instead of meeting in the middle... I've used it for 6 gigs so far and well pleased...

.This is a great little mixer! I teach out of a music studio, amd occasionally have rock band sessions with my students. This mixer accommodates for all of our needs and then some.
I absolutely love the mute and bluetooth features, which allows me to mute channels when I need, yet still play songs through an external media source such as Pandora on my phone. Having the ability to control a playlist of songs through the mixer via my phone has been an amazing little bonus!
The EQ takes a little tweaking, but with a good microphone I've been impressed with the quality so far!
If you're looking for an easy out-of-the-box, transportable mixer, this one is for you. Because of its versatility, I intend to keep it for quite some time.

I do karaoke shows, and the one thing I miss with this Amplifier is Video capability. It does however give me better control over the music and voices than some of my other Amps. .As a PA, this box was all I expected from a Peavey, and then some. I was especially impressed with the USB input that lets you play your entire music collection like a CD carousel, the ability to switch between Mono with Monitor or true stereo on the power amp assignment, and getting to choose whether the graphic EQ was in the Main or Monitor signal path.
