This is a 1998 Gibson Les Paul Studio with dot inlays.  The guitar is all original and in great shape.  The body shows typical wear for a guitar that's been played for nearly 20 years.  But it's an American Gibson, so it can stand up to the use.  While some Gibson LPs may look nicer due to paint and inlays, I'll put the sound of this machine next to any competitor.  It's no frills for a Les Paul, but if you're trying to step your sound up a level, this axe will take you there.  It's solid as a rock and straight as an arrow.
I've had this guitar for over 5 years and it has been my third choice so it's been on the wall most of that time.  The previous owner used it as his backup guitar in a cover band for many years.  So the guitar has been used regularly, but never abused.  The fretboard is still in excellent condition.  The guitar comes with a nice, heavy leather strap and a Gibson case.
The case is not in great shape if you plan to take this axe on the road.  The handle is broken and the edges show considerable wear.  It works fine for home storage though, and I will ensure it's fully wrapped for safe shipping.
