The Blues King Burn takes our standard Blues King and gives it greater overall gain range. So all the same sounds are there, but it's tailored more for mid-gain tones than the stock unit.
The BLUES KING overdrive pedal is the perfect tool for sculpting low-to-mid gain tones, pushing your amp into its sweet spot. The EQ curve of the tone controls prevents the tone-masking flaws of many overdrive pedals, preserving the full tonal palette of your guitar and amp. We took the circuit a step further by letting you tailor the precise character and compression of the drive circuitry, making the BLUES KING capable of dialing in your own signature overdrive tone.
LEVEL - controls the output of the pedal
DRIVE - controls the amount of gain/drive
TONE - controls the treble response of the overdrive. Clockwise = more treble
A - L - S - toggles between asymmetrical (A) and symmetrical (S) overdrive modes
DIST - transitions between asymmetrical (A) and symmetrical (S) clipping, with the least amount of compression around 12:00
BASS CUT - controls the pre-gain bass response. Counterclockwise = more bass
INTERNAL CONTROL - the sole trimpot on the main effect board controls the amount of compression of the A & S overdrive modes.
POWER - Accepts the industry standard, 9 to 18 VDC, negative-tip power supply. Also can be powered with a 9V battery.
