I'm a drummer. I own a couple guitars, but this is my first bass. I love it! Lots of fun playing this thing. I finally learned the fretboard with this bass because naturally it is symmetrical and has fewer strings than a guitar where I always felt learning the fretboard was daunting before. Now I'm running scales, triads, arpeggios and learning groovy lines all over this thing. Recommended first time buy or as a backup. Most attractive of the Affinity models in my opinion.
