550 stands for its maximum delay time in milliseconds and that's the same spec as the classic Deluxe Memory Man. Tap Tempo guarantees you're always in sync with the groove, wherever a performance (or your rhythm section) takes you. Five Tap Divide subdivisions deliver rhythmic variation while an Expression Pedal input provides real-time player control over Blend, Rate, Depth, Feedback and Delay. The FX Loop lets you insert effects into your wet signal without changing your dry signal.

I've had lots of delays, analog and digital. Including holy grains such as the big box DMM and Macon AD-900 or Eventide TimeFactor and PitchFactor (yes, the PF, one of the best delay pedals ever IMO)This one is a bargain, the sound is clearer than most analog delays but still has all the legendary DMM warmth.
The features (more than you can see in the pannel and in most demos btw) are plain awesome. I can't still figure out how can they make this quality at such an affordable price.

.Really dark repeats are what you'll find here, so if that's your thing, go for it. The buttons are really loud, though. Great tweakability!
