I've had this pedal for almost a year and use it a lot. But sometimes when I hit the switch to turn it off after a song it kills my entire signal. There is just no sounds coming out. Also I'm not a huge fan of how the bass end doesn't like it has much fuzz on it at all while the high end does. I'm sure some will love that. Since it does keep the low end there. Besides those two things this pedal has a great sound on bass and guitarElectro-Harmonix Nano Bass Big Muff Distortion Bass Effects Pedal
.I use it on my 7 string bass and bass VI. I use the mini switch on dry mode. I love the way it keeps the low end .I can jump into the high strings and have to just press muy delay pedal; switch off the delay and play the low end. I also use it after my fishman fission bass powerchord and it's beautiful especially on power ballads. I get the low end on my bass and a really nice crunch on the power chords coming from the fishman fission without using an extra guitar amp.

.Bought this to add some grind to my sound - from slight overdrive to fuzzed out buzz. Definitely better than a guitar-oriented fuzz, has a lot of bottom end. I'd say the lighter settings are probably most usable - the full-on buzz is way over the top.
One important note: there is a mix switch that gives you either 100% wet effect or 50/50 dry. There is a significant volume difference between these two settings, so keep in mind if you switch during a performance.
