The 3--piece maple neck has PRS' wide-fat neck profile, a rosewood fretboard, bird inlays, 22 frets and a 27.7 inch scale length. Hardware includes a SE plate bridge with string-thru design. Bridge and neck soapbar pickups are wired to a master volume and tone with 3-way pickup selector. Includes gig bag.

I've been considering a baritone for some time. Didn't really want a 30in scale, so when I came across the PRS at 27in, I was interested. But I have small hands, so after reading the description about the neck being a fat-wide neck, I had some concern. I took a chance anyway and ordered it, and I'm glad I did. The neck is fine. I have no problem with it. The guitar finish and workmanship is all first-class. .I bought this instrument as a tool for specific recording purposes. It provides a nice option for Americana/Country tracks and helps fill the space between a Fender bass and a Tele. The action and build quality are good, and PRS has a good design with the chambered body/soapbar pick-ups.
