I am a Bass player who doubles as our bands sound engineer. I have an IPOD plumbed into the mixer for in between sets music and there is never a decent way to hold or store the ipod on the mixer or in the rack. This little doo dad suction cupt to the side of the mixer and places the IPOD right next to the input gain knob on the mixer. It is perfect.Dunlop Guitar iPod Holder
.This is more than what it appears. First, it can suction-cup onto the face of your guitar and give great access. Second, it has a stand so it can sit on a desk. We know those things.Here is what I am doing with it. First, sticking my ipod touch onto the inside of my windshield and using Multitrack DAW app to record in my car!I stuck one end onto my desk and the other end onto my Tascam DP-08! m Its like my eight track is floating in the air!When you lay on the couch, you can stick it onto its stand and let it sit on your chest for the perfect hands free view!I love this product, it is an answer to my prayers. I use Music Stand (app) and I have a scrolling guitar tab right next to my sound hole, in a very natural and easily accessible location.I do not forget the chords anymore! Watch out World! lol

.This would be a great product if it was not specifically for an older model of iPhone/iPod Touch. When I got it, and saw the sticker on the box saying "for iPhone 3 only" I thought about sending it back, but I would have had to pay postage and I thought "I can make this work!" - and indeed I did. With a little shaving with utility knife and some filing, I got it to fit my iPod Touch (iPhone 4 size) inside the inner shell of its Otter Box. Now it works as expected and I love it, but unless you have an iPhone 3, I would not recommend it. Pretty pricey for something you have to modify to make it work. I am pretty disappointed with Custom Guitars Friend for not specifying that this was for iPhone 3 only. First negative experience I've had ordering from them.
