Product Features

A unique combination of crisp highs, aggressive mids, and a focused low end gives Dunlop electric guitar strings a voice all their own. The Dunlop recipe for string-to-string balance and responsiveness produces string sets that are perfect for dynamic lead work, while notes in a chord ring out clearly whether clean or heavily distorted. This powerful voice is delivered in a low-tension string with a smooth tactile feel that breaks in fast and lasts a long time.

Put a set of these on my old Stratocaster yesterday, and the angels sang. Haven't had them long enough to comment on longevity yet,but if you're looking for sound color me Dunlop. I have been playing for about 38 years, used every brand on the market, and these have made the biggest impression. I don't why I didn't try them before. A note to everyone especially the younger, and upcoming musicians, every string manufacturer on the market will make a "dud" now and then. There isn't a string on the market that last as long as they used to. Could be due to imported materials, but just get used to the fact you're gonna have to change em. I'll be buying these even if I have to change them once a week. Great strings.

.It appears I may have to eat my words concerning the Feb ,16 post. Although these are the best sounding strings I have ever used, and they feel like your fingers are playing on satin they have a longevity issue. I installed the first set on my Stratocaster ,and after about the third gig the A string went dead. I e mailed Dunlop and the sent a new pack in the mail the same week. I installed the new set ,and after three gigs the A string and top E string wenter deader than a rock. Great sound ,smooth as silk, but looks like I will have to change em every week. Same thing happened with the Dunlop NPS 45-105 strings I put on mu P bass guitar.

.I've tried many of the strings here and they all have their reasons for being great strings. I've mentioned the feel of these Dunlop strings to be out of this world. However if you want strings that last long you could try some Ernie Ball strings. Note: That I tune one full step down.
These are the softest strings I've ever felt on my fingers. I have no complaints on the sound. Changing strings every so often is not an issue for me. I think they're really cool and you should definitely not overlook these. Try a pack!
Being a lead guitarist I definitely like strings that feel good when you play them. That makes every jam session much more pleasurable. The life of the strings may be short in comparison but the comfort is amazing.
Overall, you could do a lot worst.

.My usual brand of strings for a longtime has been Ernie Ball's Slinkys. I decided today because of all of the positive reviews these strings were having to give them a go. To my surprise these are the best electric guitar strings I have ever used. They are extremely smooth and low attention, and barely go out of tune! I have used many strings and you can't go wrong with these!

.These are really nice strings. I usually use ernie ball slinky's but probably not anymore. These are really smooth and bright sounding.

.I just recentlly put a set of these on my Carvin, wow, they sound sweet. 2.5 for features because, well, you can't really do much with strings feature wise, I mean, they're strings. 4 for quality because yes they sound great, but I haven't had them on long enough to know if they'll hold up as long as my other strings have, only time will tell. For the price, it's a damn good deal! Overall I'd say they sound better than most everything I've tried.
