I got this as a present from my friends, & as a beginner I think that it's a really good pick. It doesn't break, unlike some other picks that I've used before.

.I was hunting a good stiff pick you could hold on to, and chop rhythm, and this works really well. Best I've found, rivalling genuine tortoise shell. No joke~~

.I bought these picks hoping for a set of good, solid triangle picks to last me for a long while. I play a lot of metal and fast rock, and the heavy gauge really didn't stand up to any of my playing. During one jam session, I got halfway through warming up with a song, and my band had to stop because I literally ripped the pick's tip off. The worst part is, they came in a pack of 24, so it was the first time I had ever used that pick. Maybe the thins are better.

.If you look at the web site pictures, these guitar picks appear to be the same size as the original guitar stubby picks. They are not. They are much larger. If you have large, lumber jack hands, these things are made for you. Also, having three pointed edges limits guitar strumming and can seriously scratch the guitar's clear coat right off. Not good. Even when you pick the strings, due to the large size, you will have to limit how much of the pick extends beyond your fingers or you will continuously hit the guitar pickups.

.these picks are now all i can play. They have great grip and you can play very fast and very hard... only bad thiung is that they are kinda hard to have in your mouth, unless you have half of it in there, i always out my picks un my mouth, and theese are just not very good for that

.I bought the 2 dozen pack almost 2 years ago, and there's like 6 of them still left. I usually play with very thick strings and I've had no problems with those wearing out. Great for fast runs, squeals and pick slides. I used to play regular stubbies before the triangled ones, it took a while to getting used to these but once you get it, they're the best picks ever made. I recommend it for almost everyone (because some acoustic players might find it too thick).

.I play really fast punk. These are great for playing my bass, they never break no matter how fast I play.

.I stumbled up on these by accident. I have about a dozen genuine tortoise shell picks, but guess what; I leave them in the case, and reach for my favorite pick, the triangle shaped Big Stubby
