Product Features

A unique combination of crisp highs, aggressive mids, and a focused low end gives Dunlop electric guitar strings a voice all their own. The Dunlop recipe for string-to-string balance and responsiveness produced a 6 string set that is perfect for dynamic lead work, while notes in a guitar chord ring out clearly whether clean or heavily distorted. This powerful voice is delivered in these low-tension nickel-plated steel guitar strings with a smooth tactile feel that break in fast and last a long time.

Theses strings sound amazing! I use to be a fan of Ernie Ball and still am. But once tried a pack of these strings I haven't switched back you can't go wrong with these! Plus 6 packs for this price can't beat that deal! Check them out!!
Great great great!

. As I stated, I build. I need a string that I know will not keep stretching and stretching, and is easy to intonate. The Dunlops also have a great tone. For a beginning string set on a guitar, people want to unpack their new guitar, sit down, tune it up and play a couple hours with no problems. These Dunlop strings help me get there.
I build botique guitars and I used to use D'Addarios. Good string, but the break-in time on the D's were about five-seven days. Just too long for me. With the Dunlops, they are done stretching after about 72 hours, which is about how long it takes me to get a build through intonation and setup.
Great value, great price, no customer complaints!
Good quality pack to pack, and intonation is always steady. Obviously not much if any string diameter variation or steel molecular problems. With string wire coming from who knows where these days, the Dunlops seem to have a great steel.
For this price and this quality? This is a steal. I don't even bother trying to get them wholesale.

.They are the best strings I feel I've ever played. I'm a Dunlop convert now, don't change the recipe because you've got a good thing going here!
I use the 10's. The tightly wound string offers great tones, awesome bends and smooth transition. I was given these as a "shut me up" gift from Custom Guitar's Friend for an issue I had and it's one of the best gifts they could have given me. I put them on my Strat, I will be putting them on my Les Paul and other Strat AND my semi hollow body blues machine. I love these strings. I've tried the Elixir's, DR, D'addario, Ernie Ball, Gibson and Fender strings. The Dunlops are going on every guitar I own and I'm going to be setting up my Chaylor acoustic and Epiphone Acoustic-Electric with a set of their acoustic strings to see how they stack up to my Cleartone favorites so I'll respond to that later.
These strings are so great I'm telling the bass player in my band about them. He tried them out and was amazed at the quality and feel of them.
Check the price versus the competition and you'll realize for the quality and price there is no competition.

.I bought these because the price was right. Also there was supposed to be a free gift with them, however I never recieved that.I will go back to DR pure blues and save these for a backup or give them to someone.

.I'm not sure if it's the strings or my super acidic hand sweat, but these strings tend to become dull a little faster than I like. However, when they're good, they're great. Also, at the price point even I can afford to keep them fresh when it really matters.

.I use these strings on all my electric guitars (Les Paul, SG, ES135 and SE24 Custom) and they work well. They have a good tone, they are consistent and they can use them for several performance before changing them. I am very pleased with Dunlop and I tried all brands in 35 years of playing

.I have been playing for a long time and have used pretty much every kind of electric, acoustic, nylon, guitar and bass strings that are available. Im not really hard on my strings and rarely break strings. Every set of Dunlop strings Ive used have one thing in common. They will not stay in tune. I have never run into this problem. I have a favorite brand (but I won't say which as I do not want to bias this review) but thought I would use some Dunlop strings since they were readily available and my usual brand was not. These strings are pretty tough, stay soft to the touch for at least a few weeks and initially sound pretty good. But even after a stretch-n process that I use on all my strings, these strings will not stay in tune. Ive put them on Stratocaster tremolo, Floyd Rose tremolo, Tune-o-matic/stop tail, tune-o-matic string through and flat mount Fender bridge/tail systems. It will not stay in tune on any of them. I put a set of my "choice brand" back on and the tuning is stable in about 30 minutes. When I say the don't stay in tune, I don't mean that after wailing away on them that one or two strings are a tiny bit flat in pitch. I mean, they are ALL out of tune. Some flat, some sharp. I should mention that I am a trained guitar tech and repairman and custom guitar builder. That is what I do for a living. Just to clarify that Im not a total noob that has no idea what I'm doing. I have never had an issue with such severe tuning instability from any strings ever before. I used lights, mediums, and heavies. None will stay in tune. These strings are horrible. I will never use them again, nor will I use them on my customers guitars. If they request them, ill do my best to talk them out of using these. I love Dunlop and MXR and use lots of their products like pedals and picks but Dunlop needs to fix their strings. These are just plain horrible. They might have good tone, be tough and last well but a string that won't stay in tune... well, its just plain worthless!

.It's over all worth the buy for this amount and great quality. And totally free stickers in each pack. Only negative thing that happen was when I got to the 1st string when tuning it broke in half.. My fault mostly. But all in all very happy with purchase.

.A freind recommended these. I had been using Fender Bullets becouse I had so many issues with the winding on the ball types settling in or coming undone all together. I've been using them for the past year and they have yet to let me down - always settle in quickly, in most cases a easily as the Bullets did.
