I bought this for learning the lap steel, and wanted something that could fit my hands,(they are small) and I couldn't be more pleased with the feel and weight of this slide. .I am just starting on lap slide, and I am glad to have economical slide to start learning. Left off one star because the slide is chrome plated brass, and I would have preferred it to be made of all stainless steel (as advertised), so the chrome wouldn't chip if I drop it, but if the chrome never chips I will coninue to be happy with it.

.Most of the time the 925 bar is advertised as a stainless steel tone bar. It is chrome plated brass. Check it out with Dunlop. I don't know why it is sold as a stainless steel bar by most vendors. I just want Custom Guitar's friend to get credit for correctly stating it is chrome plated brass.
That aside, it is a comfortable and economical slide, just don't drop it on a hard surface, or it may chip.
