Overall, very happy with this product.Great fit in my Chaylor acoustic-electric. The aluminum keeps the cover rigid and provides additional dampening. It's very snug and I have to be careful inserting it.
Very strong rubber coating protects my soundhole while providing necessary dampening to prevent feedback. I use a VOX non-acoustic amp so I needed all the help I could get. This does the trick.
You get what you pay for. This was more expensive than many of the others I saw, however, it is much higher quality.

.It has a cheap metal insert that bends too easy and it's not as good as the solid rubber type.the picture looks like it's all rubber but the one they sent me has a gold color plated peice in the middle.was not worth my time to send it back, so I threw it away.

.I'm sure this device works fine. Only problem....on my particular acoustic, I would have to loosen all the strings to install it in the soundhole. I suppose it depends on the individual guitar, but I would look around for a much thinner plug if I was to buy another one. Fortunately, I purchased a Fishman pre-amp EQ with feedback elimination controls that completely erased all my feedback problems, so i don't actually need the plug now.
