This wah, simply put, is a high quality wah. From looking at it, to holding it, to rocking it under your foot, you can feel that this wah is well built. The newer ones are equipped with a "Hot Potz" sealed pontentiometer, furthering it's durability. It has the pronounced mid-rangey tone that one would expect from something labelled as a "classic" wah, and the red fasel inductor really completes it. Being true bypass is an adder bonus too! I urge you all to TRY this pedal. Just because it works for me, doesn't mean it works for you.
It features true bypass, and a red fasel inductor, and a sealed "Hot Potz" potentiometer perfect for creating a warm, classic WAH, with increased durability.
Built like a tank, inside and out. The rocker feels solid, and the parts inside are high grade, especially the sealed potentiometer. and is very well put together.
A relatively inexpensive wah, considering the features and quality.

.Some people are saying "this is a great pedal if you are a Beginner." I think that statement confuses two things. One, that using more features makes you a more advanced player, and the second, an advanced player wouldn't use this pedal. I've been playing for over twenty years, recorded, played live shows, teach music, and consider myself advanced and this pedal still sounds the best to me. To me more features and taming more features does not make you advanced, it just means you've spent more time figuring out the features. What usually happens with features is you tend to find a couple of settings you like and stay in that range. Meaning you've spent more for features you do not use. I'd rather spend my time playing than noodling with knobs in search of tone. That is why to me the GCB-95 is fantastic. It allows you a wide enough sweep to have versatility, and to me that takes more effort to learn to do well than a pedal that limits the sweep. Overall, this is just a great pedal for the price.

.I had been using a Mister Cry Baby Super Volume/Wah Pedal for 20 years and after thousands of shows, finally needed to replace it. After lots of research, I decided to go with the Cry Baby Classis. It was the right choice and sounds even better than what I had used for so long. The tones are warm and quite pleasing, yet it really growls when you want it to. Incredible, full sound plus the true-bypass has brought my 100 Marshall back to life! Kudos to Dunlap for getting it right on this one!

.I've literally had dozens and dozens of wah pedals sent to me to try out over the last 15+ years, and purchased several vintage and boutique one's, but this was the first one that just seemed perfect. Really good sweep, bass not muddy, and highs not too harsh. I honestly feel this is the best wah out there. The same one that was sent to me from Dunlop about 9 years ago, is still on my pedalboard today. I've toured with it repeatedly, and has worked perfectly every time.

.The wah effect is perfect. Easiest wah to use that I have ever tried. I THINK it robs a little of my tone when it is turned of though.
That sound difference of that fasel do-dad is a great feature. Just wish it had direct drive!
The wah effect is indeed classic and SWEET! Pedal action is perfect.
I don't think you can get a better sounding or usable wah for even twice the price.

.Great tone... terrible construction
I wanted a straight forward pedal... this doesn't have a lot of features but that is okay.
The quality isn't great... I ordered it and it broke mechanically in the first half hour.. Got a second unit... it was broken mechanically when it came out the box.
If you bought one and the rocking mechanism is "sticky" it is because it is a poor design with poor construction. I was very very disappointed.
I lost respect for dunlop because of this pedal

.I bought my Crybaby Classic in search of a simple wah pedal that could simply do the job, but this thing gave me more than I could have ever asked for! Right from the beginning, pulling it out of the box and seeing that the entire thing is made out of metal and tough rubber ensured me that this sucker would last a LONG time! So sure enough when I plugged it in with my Fender Strat and Mesa Express amp it sounded amazing. It has a super wide range of wah (enough for any guitarist) and is dead silent, not even producing the slightest hum. Also, its bypass is a TRUE bypass, and doesn't touch the signal coming through at all...allowing me not to have to plug up my noise suppressor too. Everybody needs one of these!!

.This was one of the first pedals I got to get a good idea on how pedalboards work (the others were a BOSS SD-1, Modtone Chorus, and BOSS DD-3 Delay). Now, it has quite a good tone, but it's not strong enough. Granted it gives a sweet sound clean or distorted, there's not enough. It's quite undramatic with it's tone. If you want a serious wah tone, don't get this unless it's absolutely what you want. However, if you want to learn how to use a wah to your perfection, this is a great starting point.
Dunlop Cry Baby Classic Fasel Inductor Wah Pedal
.As I had said... get's the job done, and done well.
It is a wonderful, basic wah. Get's the job done and theres not much more to it then that. With a real bypass and a classic CryBaby sound you can't get much better for what it is.
The thing is build like a tank.
