Product Features

The Dunlop JC95 Jerry Cantrell Signature Cry Baby Wah pedal offers the kind of wide dark response favored by Jerry. The Cantrell signature wah is custom-voiced for a tight, punchy heel-down guitar tone.

One of the most influential guitarists to come out of the Seattle rock scene, Jerry Cantrell's epic riffs and searing tone have been the driving force behind Alice in Chains since the late '80s. His melancholy wah-drenched melodies in modern classics like "Man in the Box" and "The Rooster" left an indelible mark on a generation of guitarists.

A rugged side-control knob lets you fine-tune the toe-down frequency. And with its antique, oxidized "road worn" brass casting and custom Alice in Chains tread, the Jerry Cantrell Signature Cry Baby is a wah pedal that looks as great as it sounds.

Power the Dunlop Jerry Cantrell Signature Cry Baby Wah with a single 9V battery (accessed via the pedal bottom), a Dunlop EC8003 AC adapter, or a Dunlop DCB10 DC Brick power supply (not included).

Adjustable fine-tune knob Heavy-duty bypass switch Top-quality input and output jacks Road-worn brass casting

A great version of a classic pedal. Order today.

Very nice control knob to adjust to your personal wah setting. Very well built heavy wah pedal. Bypass works! Will not suck your guitar tone when turned off. A very small amount of distortion when used on a clean amp setting. This is when the knob is at half way. This adds a very nice color the to my sound on clean. When added with distorion this slight color adds a sweet sound. The only thing I would change is the battery cover. It does not screw in to the pedal but it clips in and out. The color is very nice when seen in person. I use an American stratocaster with humbumbers installed. I use a Marshall JMC 900 dual channel all tube amp along with a Genz Benz 2 12 speaker cabient. I only use this wah with no other guitar effects when playing live. The little extra more money you spend on this wah is well worth it.

.This is an awesome pedal period. It is extremely versatile. The sounds can be refined to exactly what you want with a control knob on the side. It basically takes the wah's sound from dark and "grungy" rolled all the way back to wide open and screaming with the knob at full. I'd say you can get a classic wah sound with the knob at about 50%. Seriously one of the best sounding pedals i've ever heard. Worth at least a try if you're in the market for a wah, no matter what style you are lookling for.

.I cannot say enough about this Wah. I've been playing 26yrs. and have tried a few different wah's but always came back to Dunlop. Being a die-hard AIC/Cantrell fan from back in the day , i HAD to have this wah and his signature G&L's also. So now i have 2 of theese wahs & 2 of his G&L's ; 1 Tribute & 1 USA. Simply , if you are a fan of Dunlop's Original Crybaby but wished you could tweak it just a little , then your search has just ended !! Just listen to him , Jerry Cantrell KNOWS GOOD TONE !!!

.You have to try this pedal to understand how good this thing is... I just can't say enough good things about it. Buy one and wah your brains out. :)

.This is definitely one of the best, if not the best wahs on the market. Jerry Cantrell is my number 1 musical influence, so I had to get this. It looks great with it's oxidized brass casing and the custom Alice in Chains tread. The single knob makes finding your tone easy and simple, just like his G&L signature guitar. It sounds just as good as it looks too, it sounds very vocal and has a good tube sound to it. One of my favorite things however, is the beautiful and touching lyrics of Black Gives Way to Blue on the bottom. Great wah. Buy it.

.Like the other review says you have to try it to hear it. I'm blown away at how good this thing sounds. If you're looking for a new wah or it's your first time getting a wah give Jerry Cantrel's a listen, it was the best wah for me. Hands down, the tone control on the side makes it possible to dial in your own taste, a very nice touch. Job well done Dunlop.

.Use it on my acoustic rig for casino lounge trio. Brings a little grunge to the lounge. Lol!

.The Cantrell wah is vocal and darker. the adjustment knob is freeflowing but it'd be hard to keep your sweet spot with out taping it in place.

My only complaint is there's no LED, but I like that you barely step on it and it activates.

I love it, I'm still playing with what I like bu haven't found a sound I don't like.
As a long time Jerry Cantrell fan, It was a no brainer buying this. I winged it and bought it with out trying it first.
I've owned the Dimebag wah for 10 years, and it was going to crap after the beatings I gave it. I love the versatility of the DB wah, but I figured it was time to expained my horizions.

The DB is scretcher, more aggressive and tweakable which I love. The Cantrell wah is more vocal and darker.

the adjustment knob is freeflowing, doesn't stop on a spot like the DB. Its a nice feature, but it'd be hard to keep your sweet spot with out taping it in place.

My only complaint is there's no LED, but I like that you barely step on it and it activates.
It's a Dunlop pedal, I own about 12 of them. They take a beating. Can't ever go wrong with Dunlop/MXR.
Love the finish, the sound and the feel.

.I'm a huge Cantrell fan and own an American made Cantrell Rampage. I bought this pedal and it was great for a little over a year and the circut board died. Sent it to Dunlop and they 'repaired' it. It never sounded the same. No sweep and no vocal. It wasn't worth sending it back to Dunlop for another repair which costs. I've since thrown it in my junk pedal box and bought a regular Cry Baby. Hate to be a party pooper but it's the truth.

.I have a few Crybaby wahs and this is at the top of the list,so far... They all have great construction and sound, and have stood the test of time and use. For the price(with MF DISCOUNT)it really can't be beat!I have an original Hendrix, custom Dime, and now the Cantrell. They all share the same good qualities, and have each an individual voice and sweep. The Cantrell is a heel-down style, which I find to be easy to create Cream style swells with.It does not bottom out or get mushy, like some wahs I've played. It is also tunable with a treble pot essentially. Excellent build quality and most importantly sound! I would recommend if you are looking for something a lil bit different than a standard Crybay.
