OK...maybe there aren't any Plimsouls tribute bands, but maybe there ought to be.

I've lusted after this guitar since I saw "A Hard Day's Night" as a kid. Ever since, all Rickenbackers have loomed large in my legend: the Beatles, the Who, Byrds, Petty, REM, the Jam, Let's Active, the Bangles, and many others, but the Harrison 360/12 was always special. Finally got it (with a nice MF discount) and couldn't be happier.

Having owned a standard rounded-horn 360/12 in the 90s and, currently, a solid-body 620/12, I'm no stranger to Rick 12s, their idiosyncrasies, and their critics. IMO, the biggest improvement the 360/12-C63 brings is the rounder 7" radius on the neck which somehow makes the string spacing more naturally comfortable (to my fingers, at least). Chording and single-notes are a lot easier, and, sonically, the vintage x-bracing and pick-ups make this thing really sing. It's great to run with a bit of distortion and delay and go a little "8-Miles High" crazy.

The finish is perfect, and the fireglo shading is just as it should be. And the vintage silver plush case is just icing on the jangley cake. Spendy? Yes, but if you've been wanting one for 40 years, you can easily rationalize it. Highly recommended!

.AWESOME Guitar! Rickenbacker at their finest! The quality and workmanship is un-surpassed. For a 12-string the action is really low. Better than some 6-strings. The sound is amazing. The only problem was waiting for this instrument to be produced but it was worth it.

.A fabulous guitar. Beautiful. Great sound. Hard to put down.

.I bought one in 1986 but this guitar is just so much better then the models made then. I also have a Roger McGuin model 12 string with the built in compressor. They both have different sounds and I love them both. The neck on this is a bit wider and easier to play and I would guess more like George Harrison's Ric. I had to return 3 before I got the ultimate guitar with great a great finish and top. When I opened the box I was blown away at how perfect this guitar is. I was worried that I would get another open box guitar although I paid for a sealed box.My dream came through and I now own the best 360-12V63 that I ever saw. Awesome.

.Got the guitar about 6 months ago. I've played it virtually every single day since I've gotten it. It is, undoubtedly, the greatest instrument I own. A Rickenbacker 360 12 string is like- it's like that gorgeous girl at the bar. You're not sure if it's going to work out, but wow is she good looking. After a couple drinks you decide to talk to her, and what do you know, she's everything you'd imagine. This guitar not only looks like a piece of art, but it plays and sounds more majestic and beautiful than any instrument I have had.
