Product Features

The C112V 2-Way Speaker from the Club Concert series feature refinements aimed at permanent installations with an elastomeric spray coating that easily fits any dcor, is very tough, and readily paintable to match surroundings. The steel grilles are foam-lined with acoustically transparent material to provide a more subdued appearance.

Assembled by hand by skilled technicians, each speaker is designed for better low-end response and includes heavy steel handles and sturdy pole sockets to make moving and positioning easy. The custom drivers from Eminence feature high-strength curvilinear cones and Kapton voice coil formers, plus oxygen-free copper voice coils and oversize strontium ferrite magnets to provide high power handling and long life. 15" and 18" drivers use cast aluminum frames to support the massive magnet structure, eliminate flex, and dissipate heat.

The titanium diaphragm compression driver is mated to a 90 degree x 40 degree custom-designed horn. Internal electronics feature an overbuilt crossover network and overload protection. Connections are dual Neutrik Speakon and 1/4" jacks. With professional features, excellent sonic performance, and great value, Club Concert speakers deliver premium quality night after night.

The C112V 2-way speaker enclosure features a 12" driver and 2" tweeter. Frequency response: (-10dB) 60Hz - 16kHz. 450W program handling, 700W peak. Sensitivity: 97dB. 17"W x 25"H x 13"D. 42-1/2 lb.

i have some larger speakers that sound great but I wanted something I could carry myself without breaking my back. These are crisp and clear and look much nicer than their carpet-covered cousins. The bonus for me is, I can use them for monitors when I use my larger speakers, or add them for a much warmer sound.Reliable, sound great and look good too. Best speakers for the money by far.

.As a big fan of speakers I became highly disappointed when I had to wire in a different connection for our application. In this I found that the internal wiring was a 20 to 22 gauge even before the crossover. I doubt if I will ever buy a preassebled speaker again if this is the standard that industry is now using.

.These speakers are very different from the past 20 years ago some JBL Dj speakers I owned. I owned Cerwin Vegas which were 15" 2 ways Intense.. I had a lot of hands on both pro and Hi end equipment, I am an audiophile for over 24 years or more and I Dj-ed in the past for quite some time.

If you like a warm sound then buy these, your audience won't be disappointed because for long term listening, these are the way to go.

The bass is not deep but you will get a full mid vocal sound on voice, they are not at all nasal sounding. I heard some other 's that sounded that way and that's what made me walk away from Pro speakers.. I don't care too much for their home audio speakers. Their home hi end audio gear is pretty nice like source gear and intergraded amps. Speakers can be subjective.. I think the biggest bang for the buck and a great match for speakers would be the Crown X series amps.. Go try those out and send me a comment back if you can.. all I can say is wow. what a bang for the freaking buck quality sound amps.

I believe these speakers tend to be on the warm side because the tweeter response only goes up to 16k. I notice what ever I throw at it these c112's with most recordings they sound pleasing to the ear.

Let these speakers break in, they need to stretch and reflex before initially taking serious listening. I think the engineers know what type of gauge wire to put in these speakers, its not an issue, its an engineers educated choice, 97 db is darn loud, its not the length and thickness you need to worry about in the cross overs connection from the cross over to the connectors.. its the length of the speaker cables you need to take note of if you are going beyond a 100 feet or more per side.

I got a great deal on these speakers and it was a great one too.. I didn't buy them here at MF but I did buy my Vegas from them and loads more of gear. If small venues is what you are up to, then these should be fine at small bars and churches and out doors too, 97 db.. But I would recommend a good passive sub with a good AB amp, sorry people I really think digital amps suck unless you really have a very tubby dark sounding speaker, then go try it out. I give these 5 stars for the cabinets and the sound is so so good for a pro audio speaker.. Pro audio finally seems to be getting it right with quality sound for the mobile pro people. Thanks and Crown.
