This set features a 13" x 3" maple snare drum, an aluminum bell set (F57-C88 range), soft rolling case with retractable handle, an 8" tunable practice pad, combination stand with X-style stand top and snare stand top, music rack; mallets; and Vic Firth SD1 drumsticks. I bought this percussion kit for my son who will be just starting band this year. I ordered an open box item to save some extra green. Everything was just like new and I don't think I would have known the difference from an unopened box version. I paid a little more for this kit compared to another kit because this one had a built-in and snare mute, and the snare drum diameter was little larger. I am not a percussionist so I had my son's band director check it out. He was thoroughly impressed and gave it two thumbs up.
