A newly developed 7.5-inch rubber Snare/Tom pad with 3-zones and a shape that is compact but easy to hit. Through the experience of developing 's well-known DTX-PAD, this rubber pad provides much greater playability. It features a softer head to provide moderate bounce, and the surface is not slippery to give a more natural feeling when playing with sticks. The pad is divided into 3-zones and supports open and closed rimshots when used with a compatible DTX trigger input*.
This pad makes a perfect snare upgrade for the DTX430K and DTX400K.
In addition, you can assign different voices to different zones (DTX500/700/900/M12 only). This makes highly original performances possible. For example, you can create an acoustic drum sound when you hit the head area, a cowbell sound when you hit the open rim area, and a loop sound when you hit the closed rim area.

I had a TP65 Pad that only the Closed rim worked, which stated was the case. This pad got pretty worn out from hard use, so I opted for the TP70. Much to my surprise both rims worked with this pad.NOTE: I found setting the Snare pad MVI to around 60 made the snare sound great!

.This doesn't fit any 400 series DTX kit without a hex adapter (can be found online). Naturally, this isn't listed on the Custom GuitarsFriend listing. Then if you have a 400 series module, you'll need a 1/8" to 1/4" cable (since all the cable inputs on the module are 1/8"). Would love to try it out but still waiting on the shipping for the hex adapter.
