When I bought my Bobby Shew flugelhorn, it came with this mouthpiece. I put it away without even trying it, using instead my Bach 1 1/2 C flugel mouthpiece. Big mistake: I came upon the mouthpiece some months later while weeding out stuff I don't use, and tried it. What a great mouthpiece! Excellent articulation, intonation, comfort and tone.
