We have been using the Club series speakers for our band for quite some time. We started with the 15" mains and dual 15" sub woofers for larger gigs and outside festivals. We love the sound from these speakers so much that we decided to purchase a pair of the single 18" sub woofers last year and we recently purchased a pair of the 12" mains for smaller clubs. I can't wait to try the new smaller system at our next gig at one of our favorite clubs.

.I own the Club 15" also, and I can tell you, they are a great deal. I've had them on about 50+ gigs this summer and, though I've tried, I can't kill them!

.The S112V are great speakers for small to mid-sized venues, as well as practice in the basement or garage with the band. I recently purchased them along with the EMX88S mixer package and have been very pleased. My only critique is that they don't quite kick out the sound as well as the 15" version- particularly the mids and lows. These should be all you need, though unless you will be playing gigs for 100 or more people. makes very good quality, reliable pro sound equip at a reasonable price.

.for its size, it has amazing low end. not to mention excellent mids and highs. I compared this box (just for the heck of it) to some other cabinets with 15 inch speakers, to my suprise this cabinet performed just as well musically for music and vocals.

. Well I'd buy them again. I'm solo, duo, trio, rarely a full band, but they could handle it in a small-med venue. I run these through a Mackie PPM608, with a wedge, and I get compliments on acoustic tone and vocals (very warm sounding to me.) And between sets I run my iPod through them and it sounds righteous too. If I were running a band, I'd get 15s and rock on. You won't be disappointed with this series.
I bought two S112V to replace another pair of high-end, but smaller speakers and I am very happy with my purchase. 12" speaker is warm, good low end for not being a 15", nice horn, built sturdy, heavy (which I don't mind), look great, 1/4 and Neutrik connections in parallel, I have nothing bad to say about them. My audio-snob sound buddies reinforce my opinions, which basically validated my purchase.
is quality in my opinion and these speakers are no different. I have had good success with everything musical or non-musical with . They feel sturdy, sound great., good fit/finish. I don't push my equipment to the max, but they look like they can handle it.
well I always want something cheaper than it costs, but I would buy these again....at MF prices. Versatile and powerful for the $$. My musician friends love them as much as I do and they are perfect for what I need as an acoustic solo, duo, trio or makeshift band.

.These are really nice Speakers. Every one it the band was suprised how the vocals projected, even the drummer can hear them. We use a Behringer Power Amp and the system really works. A very nice set of speakers.

.I have had the IV for 9 years now- As far as I can see the only difference with the IV to the V is the Speakon vs jack.I grow more fond of these speakers all the time. I've taken them through so much punishment year after year, and ROUTINELY have DJs playing with a 560Wx2 amp pushed to 100% and even clipping sometimes at the amp- with the Low end before that boosted 6-7 DB! I mean I do this every week for a couple hours. Distortion Is not a problem. I could not push these to distort doing anything a reasonable person might try on a PA. Although these are rated 500W program, the Volume from Pink noise hits 128db. so they are Very energy efficient and high output. Many other speakers with two 15inch drivers have the same or lower SPL output. Soundwise I'd heard Better- but also heard much worse. The character of these speakers is quite agressive and punchy, great for clubs! quite forward sounding. If you want warm and smooth, try JBL MRX or something else. buy these, and Don't be afraid to push them hard.

.Im in a punk rock band and a month ago we helped organise a battle of the bands at our local YMCA. Since we were the only band that had any PA equipment we voluntered our stuff. We have three of these yamaha speakers, and four hand built floor monitors all being powered by a mixer W/built in power amp. I was impressed at the amount of sound that these speakers are able to put out. the sound was great. P.S. We Won!

.This new 12" speaker from really rocks. The tweeter throws highs all the way to the back of the room. It has great overall response. Vocals sound amazing!
