You'll be hard pressed to find a nicer 1930s era Regal Junior Jumbo than this one.
With solid Adirondack spruce top and solid Cuban mahogany back and sides; the original finishes show very little wear. All the appointments are original and in great shape.
Action at the 12th fret is 1/8".
Ladder braced construction, nice open back tuners, original bone nut, big Regal jumbo frets, and the original rosewood bridge. 24-3/4" scale length with a 15-1/4" lower bout, 10" upper bout on a 17-5/8" long body. Nut width is 1 7/8".
The maple neck has a C profile and the original bone bridge pins are all present. There is some minor wear around the soundhole and the bridge on the bass side.
It has a great deal of volume with the crisp character of mahogany mellowed out by an 80 year old spruce top for a rich combination of warmth and punch.
A wonderfully functional antique and a beautiful guitar. It comes with the oversized, period correct case shown in the pictures - beat but
very cool.
