Continuing ESP's goal of providing excellent guitars for everyone, LTD has also introduced more 200-Series models that are affordable for any musician on a budget. George Lynch, who's been playing ESPs longer than 99% of people ever heard of ESP, has a new Signature Series model, the LTD GL-200K (with a graphic finish based on his well known ESP Kamikaze model).
The GL-200MK neck was spec'd by Lynch himself and is instantly comfortable. A Floyd Rose Special bridge and locking nut keep notes in tune when dive bombing or shredding.
A screaming ESP LH-150 humbucking pickup produces high-output tone and, along with a versatile LS-120 neck pickups, is all this guitar needs to get the job done.

I just received this guitar yesterday and was blown away when I opened the box. Upon closer inspection, I was even more impressed. I expected to find some finish issues with smotthness, sanding marks, something to let me know this was a lower priced version of Lynch's Kamikaze. This was Definitely NOT the case. The neck pocket is tighter than my American Big Apple Strat wchich cost me nearly double (and I had to spend more after buying it in the form of a roller nut and locking tuners to get it to actually stay in tune).I have no gripes about the Floyd Special trem. Jackson is using them on guitars costing much more, and I have one installed on my Rhoads V without any issues. The neck profile is increbily comforatable and incredibly fast. I had no buzz on Mine, nor did I have any fret edges. The fretwork, once again, is much better than that on my American Strat. I am a Duncan guy, but for now am leaving the factory pickups where they are as I can find no fault with them. the single coil sounds like a single coil even in high gain settings, which is what I like from a single coil. The humbucker falls somewhere between a Full Shred and a JB, so I am NOT complaining.
I have not found any other guitar than can compete with this guitar in THIS price range, and would put the 200-k up against guitars costing much more. It is REALLY that good.
If you are looking for a Lynch model and can't afford the ESP version I would advise you to look no further. If you really have to, you can always install his pickup combination, and an original Floyd. Keep in mind with the pickups and tone though, signature pickups are designed for the artist for THEIR needs, and tone has as much to do with your style, attack, etc., as it does the equipment.
For the price, you CAN'T go wrong with this guitar. And it is more versatile than it's looks would sggest, although the graffics are AWESOME!!!!

.This guitar is Awesome for the money... The graphics look incredible, and the neck is the original George Lynch Neck... However, the Floyd Rose Special is junk, and the pickups aren't good either. Also, two of the frets on the neck are too high causing fret buzz.. I've replaced the "Floyd Special" with an "Original" Floyd Rose with the original floyd R2 nut, and swapped out the pickups with a Seymour Duncan "Cool Rails" in the neck position, and a Seymour Duncan "TB-6 Distortion" pickup in the bridge. I've also filed down the two frets with a fret file. Now, this guitar is everything a $2,000.00 guitar would be. I've been a Lynch fan since 1984, and his signature guitars are the best strat style electrics in the business.

This guitar is a good sounding instrument. The bridge pick up is great sounding while the neck pick up is not as good. Single coil's just dont have the full, fat punchy sound it should have. Can't believe George uses a single coil. I am thinking about swapping this out for an EVH humbucker. The neck is FAT...I mean big. Biggest radius I have even played with. The frets are super jumbo, which is nice. The toggle switch is in the volume knob. When switching neck to bridge, you can hear the 'click' come through my amp. Could have been a softer feel to this option. Mine came with a blemish, black paint smudge, under the clear coat. Great look...great sound... The headstock, although reversed, is quite large...like a hockey stick head. I also like the jack input's location. On the slant...pointing outward. Just like the Ibanez JEM models. Good for sitting down while playing. The price is good for this model. Wish they would make an inexpensive Tiger print George Lynch model.ESP LTD GL-200K Electric Guitar Graphic
.ive had this guitar 4 years it was set up good when it arrived although i did raise the bridge just above flush to the body and tuned down a whole step ,the only real upgrade needed was a 36mm brass block and better lockdown hardware.the neck is wide but i have big hands and find it easier to play than my strat. for those who dont like the pups as with any guitar/gear the sound is there you just need to find it.

.Not bad for the money - purchased this blemished at a discount price and I would say it's worth the price. Pickups are surprisingly good for stock - bridge is sort of a cross between a JB and screaming demon with lots of sizzle and treble detail but no harsh upper midrange spike, neck single coil is passable but a DiMarzio cruiser or Duncan cool rails is what is needed.
The electronics feel decent enough, the neck and fret work are very good, and the overall finish is pretty good. The guitar is very light, but has a solid feel to it. Basswood is not going to give you the resonance of mahogany or alder, however, so don't expect endless sustain.
The only real negative I can see on this guitar is the Floyd Rose Special hardware - it just doesn't feel as solid as a regular or pro series, which are also much more expensive). If you understand how to properly set up and maintain this type of tremolo, it works fine.
Bottom line: although you can get better guitars used for the same money. this is not a bad deal for someone looking for the look and feel of an 80's hair metal crunch monster.
