Well, I just got my Snow White Hetfield ESP LTD Guitar! I have to say this is a very good guitar for the money! I played it for over an hour at the store and was absolutely impressed with the fit/finish and playability of the guitar! This guitar is on the light side and feels great while both sitting or standing up! The neck is thin/fast and very comfortable. The frets are on the tall side and polished well. The edges of the fret board are slightly rounded making it easy to hold and move up and down the neck.The pickups give it a great sound either with a clean or dirty channel.My final assessment... .If you like good, quality guitars, metallica, rock, metal, or music in general, then get this guitar. It's you loss.
Such a great guitar, matches metallica sound PERFECTLY, has two EMG pickups (Older models have 81/60, now they come with JH pickups), and the snake on th neck is amazing and has such good craftsmanship. Not to mention the new shape of a guitar, which is great.
Have had it for like 5 months now.
They took their time when it comes to making these, not a single nick or dent in the guitar. I found it on the lighter side to be honest, but that comes with an opinion and what not. Sitting with this guitar is pretty easy, not like sitting with a les paul, but some people, IN MY OPINION, overcomplicate it.
How isn't it worth it?

.I don't really care about any of the negative views about this written before - the sound and tone of this guitar is awesome. As far as it being "heavy" or "Bulky" its not. I had 2 Jackson Kelly guitars and the snakebyte in my opinion is far easier to hold, play, and basically have fun with. The fret board is fairly fast and again the tone it delivers is really really decent. I play all sorts of Rock - Heavy Rock - Basic Metal - Gothic and Symphonic Rock/Metal. There is no issues with this guitar when I play any genre all-though it does fit best with Metal and Symphonic Hard Rock.

.I've been waiting so long for James to get a signature Explorer or Explorer-like guitar and here it is.This thing is sick in all the right ways with the mahogany body, EMG pickups, and ebony fretboard it's got to be the baddest guitar on the market right now and I absolutely can not wait to get it.

.Awesome guitar! only problem was it developed a stress crack in the neck joint after a couple months. Just cosmetic, in the clear coat and barley noticeable. From what i read online, this was common and happened to a lot of people. I keep it in the case and took extremely good care of it and it still developed. Other than that, the tone is amazing, pups are awesome, and feels well balanced for its size!

.I'm used to expensive USA made axes, but I got this for a killer deal, so why not I thought. Turns out this guitar is a monster that hangs with the big boys. killer tone, nice pickups, comfortable neck. comfortable playing guitar all around. not heavy or bulky at all. the one bad thing that is a bummer is that there is a cosmetic crack in the neck joint that was there when i bought it. doesnt mess up sound or anything, so its no biggie to me, but i see that some people complained about that same problem. its nothing- buy this guitar!! IT PLAYS LIKE A USA MADE GUITAR.

.I've had this guitar for about 3 years now, and I couldn't be happier. It's a lightweight, great looking, made-for-metal machine. James Hetfield is my guitar idol, so it was a no-brainer for me to pick this up, and I haven't been disappointed. Looks awesome, sounds and plays great, and is my go-to guitar now. One feature I really love is the locking tuners--string changes are quick and easy. Guitar now comes with JH signature EMG pickups. Go get it!
