All I can say is WOW! This product was recommended to me by a pro audio guy in New Orleans who stated this is the best product and is used by the pros that play every night in the French Quarter. Boy was he right. Sound quality is fantastic. I use the Sennheiser 935 model. Our sound guy had a big smile on his face the moment I began singing during sound check to check this unit out. That in itself was not easy to do with him. Plenty of headroom. So far have had several gigs with no problems. I have used several wireless mic products and could never find one that I love. This is the One!Line 6 XD-V75 Digital Wireless Handheld Microphone System Black
.It was about time I bought a wireless mic...did my research, decided to go with the Line 7 V75. My main reason is that the mic will be used for my singing as well as for speeches, and the fct that I can switch digital "modules" to work like different mics is very useful. This way, I can use the SM58Beta (hypercardioid) module for singing and the SM58 for speech.
Anyway, I used it last night for the first time. I came an hour earlier than usual because I thought first-time setup and the learning curve would take me that long...I was wrong. I plugged it in, stuck the batteries in, turned on the receiver and the mic, and I was ON, just like that. Two minutes I was walking around the room testing the different digital modules. I tested it from every corner of the large hall, as well as behind the walls; good transmission. The guests complimented how great the vocals sounded during my sound check, and switching between modules between music and speeches was a no-brainer.
So my first gig with it was a breeze and sounded great. We'll see how it performs at tonight's gig!
Great job Line 6!

.I ordered mine from Muscians Friend. I already own a XD-V70 and wanted to add another wireless unit. I fired up both units and had the same settings on the board for each. I have to admit the V75 was a little cleaner sounding then the V70. Also the V75 can do software updates, even for my V70 when attached. I also love the fact it comes with rack ears, and you can hook two together on the same antenna. Up to 4 in a row with the same antenna is recommended. The mic sounds clear and crisp with no drops outs to date. If I had to replace it, it would be another V75.

.Ok here's the scoop. I purchased five of these units for our weekend Gospel group. They sound great! Like other reviewers have said, the mics do experience some occasional dropouts. I have a wireless router in my tack and it has to be turned off or moved far away to use the mics. Also, if you have a cell phone in your hand, the mic makes a clicking sound. On the the quality issues. The second issue I had was while unscrewing the battery cap, the whole bottom of the mic came loose and the wires broke. Line 6 fixed it because it was under warranty. Next, the paint on two of the mics started peeling off. I contacted Line 6 but they wouldn't t do anything because it was after the 12 month warranty. Then on a fourth mic, the plastic around the screen started clipping off. These things are kept in a Gator mic case and treated well. I have had Shure PG58 mics that seem better built. I am now looking for new mics because these look so bad and I just cannot count on something that seems to be such poor quality. I recently quoted a sound system install for a bank that I am doing some consulting for. I would love to include these mics, but I cannot in good conscience recommend these to anyone, unfortunately.

.I bought this unit for the multitude of modeled mic presets. 10 in all.
I had to return the mic within the first year for internal repair. It appeared to be fixed upon return to me.
After two years of continuous use the capsule has worn out. I wanted to replace it. The only option is the V75 SC which only offers 4 models. There are NO replacements for the original capsule that offers 10 models. You can replace the entire transmitter, but not the worn out capsule. I do love the mic. But after 2 years of use I hate to essentially downgrade because the capsule has failed.

.I own the Line 6 XD-V70 handheld and lavalier mic systems and decided that I had great success with those that I would buy the updated XD-V75 as a second handheld for ceremonies and receptions. So far after changing the RF to match my other two the mics all work great together on one set of antennas. Line 6 continues to be my favorite wireless system!

.These are excellent and easy to use wireless systems! very reliable! I have yet to have these "drop out" on me! Just set the desired channel on the mic and receiver and your done! The mic modeling is pretty slick also! Its like buying 10 mics in one! Don't like the sound of your voice…..change to mic model and try a whole different sound! These are very clear as well….i have two of these and my singer has a cheaper shire wireless with a sm58 capsule….his is very "gritty" sounding….like not clear…distorted sounding…..my line 6's are very very clear…..they have a good distance before loosing signal also! i would buy more definitely!

.I am a singer, songwriter in a southern gospel mixed group called "His Voice". I have four of these and having male and females sometimes it is hard to get a mic to work for both. I think they are the best wireless mic's I have ever owned.

.I loved the XD-V70 mics, so jumped at the chance to get the newer model XD-V75. It offered an excellent benefit to update the XD-V70s I have. This is a great deal. These mics are easy to setup and have a great sound!
