The Line 6 Relay G90 digital wireless system provides a pure signal so guitars get a beautiful high-end sparkle and basses get a thunderous low-end punch, even at distances of up to 300 feet. The signal's clarity rivals that of the highest-quality guitar cables. Unlike traditional wireless systems, this system offers superior sound with full bandwidth and zero compression.
Not only does the Relay G90 wireless system sounds just you're using a direct cable, but it can also sound just like the cable you would normally use. It features EQ settings to match the frequency response of your guitar cable so you can switch between the Relay G90 and your cable without having to change the settings on your sound amp. Different players use different cables, but all players can use Line 6 Relay G90.
Professional Dependability
The Relay G90 wireless mic system broadcasts its robust signal over the 2.4GHz band. This keeps the signal free from many kinds of interference. For added security, it employs exclusive signal protection technology. Each of its channels broadcasts an encrypted data over four different frequencies simultaneously. Traditional wireless mic systems, on the other hand, broadcast over congested UHF bands, so their signals can be susceptible to interference generated as far away as 100 miles or more.
Refreshing Simplicity
The Relay G90 is easy to use. Bright LCDs and LEDs on the transmitter and receiver display all critical system functions including power, status, channel number, battery life, and more. Plus, it finds open channels right out of the box.
The wireless instrument system includes transmitter, 1RU rack-mountable receiver, and all necessary accessories including antennas, guitar cable, power supply, and batteries.

Having just picked one of these units up I can testify that yes, the audio fidielity of it is very high and it is IS a world class wireless. HOWEVER upon my first show with this wireless the cable fell right out of the wireless. I didn't think much of it other then being frustrated, after the show I checked and the input for the cable on the pack was broken. I went to return it the next day and immediately checked for the same break on the new package, the in box in store wireless also had a broken cable input. The THIRD unit I tried finally had a good input. So I took that wireless, then bought a two year protection plan for it.It's really scary that something as simple as the input lock being broken out isn't being checked for, and although the unit is very solid, there appears to be a manufacturing defect in them that you should be aware of.Line 6 Relay G90 Rackmount Digital Wireless Guitar System
.I purchased this unit a little over a year ago after being wired started causing issues during gigs for me. Being a bassist, I'd heard horror stories from other bassists about wireless kits killing some of the low end signal. When I came across this unit, I learned that, because it's digital, it does not use compression like analog wireless kits do and thus give the user the complete tonal range. I decided to take the risk and purchase the unit and am thrilled I did. While the price tag seems rather high, the headaches it saves is worth every penny. The kit has a unique encoding between the reciever and transmitter that keeps all interference out. I've used the unit nearly every day since I purchased it and I have never once had any interference in any type of venue (large/small/indoor/outdoor) in any location across the country. I've also never once had any drop out. You can go literally hundreds of feet away and have no signal issues. The battery life is great as well. There is a digital display on both the transmitter and reciever letting you know to the nearest 20 minutes how much battery life is left. A fully charged set of batteries sets the display to 8 hours and 40 minutes. You can use multiple transmitters with the same reciever. Just set them all to different channels and change the channel on the reciever as you change guitars. You can label each transmitter with a unique name too, so you know which transmitter the reciever is picking up. As for construction, this unit can withstand a beating. I can't even begin to count how many times I've dropped the transmitter during handling. It still works as perfectly as when I pulled it out of the box. It's constructed with a solid metal casing that keeps it's contents safe. If you're thinking about going wireless, go with the Line 6 Relay G90. It will not disappoint

.This little jewel is amazing right out of the box. Got it Friday, went on stage Saturday. Flawless performance (equipment-wise, lol). Simple instructions, no non-sense unit. Hey if you can afford it, you should definitely go with this one!

.Guitarist of 27 yrs, pro and actively touring, picky about tone and the affect that everything in the chain has on it. I have used Monster guitar cables for years and have wanted to go wireless for a long time. Decided on the Line 6 G90 and have absolutely no regrets. My tone is the same as with cables, but I'm free to run amok on stage unencumbered! Battery life in the transmitter is moderate. After about 4 hours it is down to 2 bars on the rack's indicator. I like that the indicator shows batt level, signal level, and signal quality. I also LOVE the fact that you can change the color of the display! Very sweet. Overall, this is a killer wireless unit and the other guys in my band agree. They love it too!

.I have had plenty of wireless kits before. I bought the G90 with the rack mount receiver when I bought a road case for my amp head. I am in a punk band, and I like to have energy in our set. I'm nowhere near in shape, so I'm not doing acrobatics or anything. Every single time I land a jump with this thing plugged in, it cuts out. I have to tap it with my palm and it comes back on after a few seconds. This is SO ANNOYING! A wireless should not have such a basic flaw and be this expensive. Surely they found this in testing?
I won't be buying any other Lines6 products. This was one of the priciest ones in the market, and it is absolutely unbearable. If you do some research, you'll see others complain about this flaw. I've checked the battery compartment to see if possibly theres a disconnect, but theres nothing that looks odd. I can't return it so I will definitely be reaching out to Line6. But, given that others have had this issue - theres probably little they can do. Fingers crossed. DONT BUY THIS! I'd seriously consider a cheap wireless over this...it's that bad.
I only gave it a 2-star rating because the sound is great, when it comes through.

.I purchase one of these and was very impressed with the overall system when I opened the box. The sound is clear etc. However after 3 uses, one of the systems started dropping out. The sound would just cut out. The next week, the other did the same thing. I had to pay to ship them back to Line6 and wait for them to be repaired I was told 4-6 weeks.I should have gone online to the Line6 website and red the comments from the board. Many people have had similar problems. The only solution that has been posted is to send them in. Other solutions online include common sense for wireless equipment. The system is great when it works - please be prepared to have a backup if you purchase a new one.

.Giging musician in need of a reliable wireless system that just works? Fantastic value, $1K performance for half the price? Yea, it's a must have.
Having a mute on the transmitter and an aux out for a tuner is a huge win for me!
I've owned Nady's, Sampsons, and Sonys - this simply a great product because it just works w/out the wireless drama.
My setup uses two transmitters (guitar n and guitar n+1) - very easy to set up and use. Again, it just works w/out the drama.
Having a cable length emulator to roll of the high end is non-sense in my opinion, who wants it and why use it when the guitar has a tone control that does the same thing?
All metal design for both the transmitter and the receiver. Definately road worthy.
I use a Peavey 6534 amp, usually on the high gain channel, ... the wireless system does not add any noise, completely silent, even on mute. Now that's quality.
It is pricey, but considering the features and all metal build, compared against the competitors, it has a fantastic value.

.Great system. I had a another vendor's system prior to this and it had a negative effect on my tone and sustain. This system sounds great, keeps my tone, and doesn't affect my sustain. It is very versatile, supports multiple systems and multiple body packs. The extra expense for this system was well worth it to me.

.I found the system to be great as far as sound quality but falls short as far a durability. The cable on my transmitter pulled out on first use. I have read that this problem occurred with other users as well. I only used it once on stage and had it fail the first time.

.After use of the "x" series wireless, i almost was convinced that line six made a nice wireless. however the battery life was way short. And after further investigation, i discovered Line six did not develop this system. Only purchased the rights to it. So i waited for the new "improved" system to come out. I was surprised and disappointed by How over priced and cheaply made this unit was. I was very let down by the massive price tag that also came along with it. Don't waist your cash. This unit is def made by line6. For that $$, you're better of going w/ a SURE, AUDIO TECHNICA or a SENNHESIER. In most cases, u get what u pay for. This is not the case here. I should have got much more JUNK in my box for this price. Like pencil shavings or something. But yes, it sounds pretty good. i didn't loose too much if any tone.
