Product Features

Line 6's FBV Express MKII Guitar Footswitch offers all the classic advantages you expect from a Line 6 foot controller, including rock-solid channel switches, a rugged wah/volume pedal and a chromatic tuner display but it's also full of surprises. The steel footswitches are built for constant stomping. They make it easy to store and select four channel presets, to synchronize time-based effects with Tap Tempo, and to activate the chromatic tuner. The burly, full-sized volume/wah pedal feels solid under your foot and features plenty of grip. Clicking the toe switch toggles between volume and wah control.

FBV Express MKII footswitch connects to your Line 6 amp or POD effect processor via the included locking RJ-45 cable. Perfectly paired with Spider IV and Spider Valve MKII guitar amplifiers, the FBV footswitch provides complete, handsfree control of the looper, pitch-shifter and other on-board amplifier effects.

Hands-free channel switching and more for your Line 6 amp and POD Footswitches and chassis are constructed of reliable steel 4 channel switches: A, B, C and D Chromatic tuner display Volume/wah pedal is burly, full-sized and features plenty of grip Bright LEDs show active channel, tap tempo and volume or wah Self-powered via included locking RJ-45 cable

I will start by saying over the past few years I have been really starting to become a fan boy of Line 6 products. I purchased a 75 watt Jam and the things that amp can do is utterly amazing! Recently I wanted to be able to easily create loops and dubs with my Spider jam so I purchased the Express. It is durable, heavy, and works well. The small screen reads easily to let you know what tone bank you are in. But if you are wanting to expand for looping and dubs I highly recommend the shortboard. The express does allow you to use the looping functions on the jam but you have to switch the mode on the amp for this to happen. That in turn takes away the ability to bank through differnet effects. So if you really want to do both get the shortboard or if you have the budget get the shortboard. That being said this footswitch does everything it claims it can do very well!

.I actually do not own this, but I have used it before. I was planning on buying this, but my uncle bought me a Line 6 Shortboard MKII. Which I think is a better deal. As far as the Express goes, it's light, portable, easy to use, lots a features. But If I were you I would save up to get the Shortboard (unless you use Spider 15 & 30 cause it's incompatible) which gives you some more features like a full LCD screen, easy access to quick loop, change the effects bank, access amp boost, and turn on the effect knobs while playing, etc.To sum it up, the Line 6 Express MKII is an awesome little footswitch for budget performers, inactive musicians, etc. But It won't completely unleash your Line 6 amp's potential, if you want to completely bring out Line 6's awesomeness get the Line 6 Shortboard MKII

.I ordered the spider IV 30 amp and, this footswitch completes the package. Very easy to use, nice volume pedal/wah,tuner alone is almost worth the price, solid well made unit, channel switches are in the right place and, seem well made. It fits perfectly in the Gator Gig12 bag. If you own the amp get the pedal you'll be glad you did.

.I purchased the Express Footswitch to control my Line6 Spider III. It basically does what it says it does, but after using it for a while I find it lacking. The four small pedals swap you through your presets A-D. However all Spider combo amps have multiple A-D sets (numbers 1 through ??? depending on amp) and the footswitch cannot swap between sets. I like to come up with a setting or two for nearly every song I play, or at least for each band/style and once I got past four predefined settings, I had to walk to the amp to switch to a new set. Not the end of the world, but isn't the point here to be able to control the amp without walking over to it? The 'wah' function works, but it is weak. If you want a true 'wah' effect, this pedal probably won't quite do it.It has failed a few times (lost volume, wouldn't change channels, etc.) but a restart of the amp fixed it.If you really want to control your Line6 amp, I'd recommend considering the FBV Shortboard. I plan to upgrade.

.Easy to use, works as expected. Wish I'd purchased sooner.

.Though the product description says it works with amps and Pods, it won't work with the Pod Pro.

.Aside from updating your firmware, the MKII just seems like a splashed up version of the original FBV series. The best thing, however, is that they improved the wah pedal, hopefully the squeaks that plagued the first series in gone.

.I love this thing. Its nice and compact, so it doesn't take up much space in my home practice space, it seems made to be very durable, you can get away with stomping this little guy a bit at shows or practice or whatever. Its a great versatile took.

.I've had this pedal for a whil now and I works very well. It's great for performances and such.
Line 6 FBV Express MKII Guitar Footswitch Black
.I've owned this footswitch pedal for a couple of weeks now and I got to say, if you own a line 6 spider 4 amp its just the perfect match, I personaly love playing standing up and on stage but before I owned this I had to press the a, b, c, or d buttons on my amp to able to switch to a different pre-set,and there was times were I had to lean over and press the button and sometimes it would mess up the song during rehearsel and when I got this I diffenetly felt much more comfortable knowing that I can controll my Line 6 with my foot, but I still think its weird how the manufacture wouldnt include one of these footswitches with the amp even if it didnt have the wah/volume effect on it. plus, the wah pedal is a pretty ok pedal itself, it doesnt sound better than my other wah pedal's that I use on stage but if you are new to the "wah world" its great. And the footswitch its self isnt even difficlut to setup all you do when you get it is take it out of the box plug it in and its fully functional.
