I bought this pedal and it worked great at first. But then it got very scratchy and no matter how many times I cleaned it it still scratched. It's also made of cheap plastic. You're better off getting an Ernie Ball.Boss FV-50L Stereo Volume Pedal
.I bought the Boss Volume Pedal for use with my keyboard, and it does the job. Has a pretty good sweep where you can have a gradual increase in volume rather than going from zero to 60 in a second. You can adjust whether you want the sound to cut out completely or partially with a knob on the side. I don't hear any coloration of sound so that's a good thing.
