I have a peavy banditt 112 soloist, equipped with a scorpion. This amp has been with me since i was 14 years old and still kickin', after many years and shows and practices the scorpion speaker ripped and blew out, so I replaced it with the Fender 12" speaker, it brought my "vintage" peavy amp back to life. This speaker have a nice rich and robust tone from everything using my Fender strat to my Jackson rhoads V. Its wonderful for small session recording using a condenser mic. Good strong speaker. .Works great in Marshall, Fender and Trainwreck tube amps. Nice big bottom. If your amp's tone is a little on the thin side - this will fix it. Efficiency is pretty high at 98.6db, making it a good choice for the little 5 watt tube amps.

Great speaker put it in a 80's model crate amp and boy did this speaker bring it back to life.
Very clean at all settings. I had a hard time finding a 4 ohm seaker for this old CR 160 amp. It is very important to get the right ohms and wattage for a replacement speaker for it to give you peak
preformance. If you need a 4 ohm speaker at 50-100w this is a well built USA made speaker. You
will not be disapointed. I own fender amps also. Now I have a old crate amp with its own fender sound.

.The label on the speaker says "Made in USA by Eminence". Great deal and yes, it has a nice low end. I replaced the "British (Laney) Invader" in my Laney Hardcore Max with the Fender which added the much needed low end oomph and less highs. The Invader was fine, but a little too trebly with distortion when cranked up loud.
