Just a up date on a review i did 11/2014,, The strings i got from MF had rust on them,, so i called fender,,and they sent me some, And there was no rust at all on theres,Tech guy said,, it could be where there stored,, or how long they been on the shelf,,I do love theses strings, easy to bend, good tone, and keeps in tune,,just makes me wonder where Mf stores them,, something to think about,,i have ordered many strings from Mf, with out a problem,,Fender 3150XL Original 150 Pure Nickel Bullet-End Electric Guitar Strings - Extra Light
.Weird how a few people have commented on these strings rusting but pure nickle does not rust. I wonder if they have the nickle plated steel ones? Or if they just mean corrosion? Anyway, I have never played bullets prior to owning my first American strats a few years ago. But once I did, I quickly came to the realization that they are made for fender guitars. They bullets fit nicely into the bridge block for added sustain. The strings themselvs sound great. I will only use these in my Fenders. I use D'Addario 10s in all my other guitars such as LP, Epi, Washburn, Ibanez.

.Don't get me wrong , i love theses strings,,But i have had three sets now , that has rust on high e / and b strings, right out of package, and for the price i should not have any rust at all,,and i have 7 fenders, i was going to change them all over to theses strings, not so sure now,If rust is on any string, it won"t take long to break,,and i don:t have to tell ya where its going to break at,just hope your not on stage,

.The older I get, The more I like them. I have the action set super low on my original '72 tele deluxe'
and they are really great for bends. Can't see myself using anything else, EVER.
