Love these strings for my strat style guitar bullet ends seat well in trem block. The less bright tone of the pure nickel suits my ears.I bought 3 sets the first set I opened had a defect the d string was only wound half way,the next set was fine, if this happens again I guess it's back to DRs without the bullet endsFender 3150M Original 150 Pure Nickel Bullet-End Electric Guitar Strings - Medium
.The bullet ends on these strings really do seem to increase the tone and sustain quality compared to the ball end strings that I was using. Upon first glance it is easy to simply think that it is only about the bullet ends fitting better into the tremelo cavity than the ball ends. However, there is more to it than that. You see, these strings are designed to be a custom fit into the strat tremelo block which eliminates string slippage and tuning instabilities. Also, the strings have more mass and surface area contact with the bridge. In terms of physics this makes perfect sense and you can hear the difference if you have an ear for tone. It is the formula for the perfect strings for a strat. I do know this, I won't use any other strings in my strat because the way they feel and sound is absolutely perfect.

.i tryed a lot of trings and had a hard time gettin the sound i wanted, i wanted a wormer sound with more mid n this was it. I asked a sales person and he said that this where not the best string but he was wrong. I have them on my strant and my LP custom and they are jus what i was lookin for and on the bridge of my LP they add a kool odd look so this is all I use great sound and price.

.I love my Stratocaster, I always have, but I never truly appreciated all the instrument had to offer until I tried these strings. The unique bullet end was built for the Stratocaster and the pure warm sound of nickel plays so very nicely with the Fender single coil pickup. The contact that the bullet end makes with the bridge block opens up a whole new level of sustain and singing harmonics. These strings play well, wear well, stay in tune, and sound great. They are rich and open, letting your tone shine through. I never thought I would find a combo like this. My search for the perfect Strat string ended when I found these strings. The fact that they are reasonably priced is an added bonus.
