I have used different polishes since 1989. For the last 10 years this has been the best polish. It does not leave residue and only a little is needed to wipe off dried sweat and skin.Fender Guitar Polish
.Works like a charm with a polishing cloth. Pretty slick, so it only takes a little. If you spray on too much, be prepared to use more than one polishing cloth to get out all the streaks, but if you let it dry for a while it comes out shining brilliantly. It also works great for polishing patent leather shoes and cleaning scratched CDs. Hmmm...can you say...necessity is the mother of all invention?

.I have used Turtle Wax Express Shine for decades with great result on all my acoustics, both Martin and Taylor. When I got a 2012 SSS Select Stratocaster, Fender Co. would not tell me if I could continue to use Express Shine, even though I saw no reason not to. I liked the Carnuba wax in it, but to play it safe, I bought the Fender Guitar Polish (my maple neck is lacquered so it also needs polishing), and thought Custom Shop products unnecessary. Custom Guitar's Friend had a great sale after Christmas. The polish applies easily, wipes off easily, shines brilliantly and leaves the lacquered maple neck feeling new. Do not use it on any of the unlacquered necks, like rosewood or unfinished maple. They make separate products for those. But the polish apparently can be used on any lacquered finish that Fender produces, even the newer, thinner ones, according to their representative.

.This stuff is hard to work with because it leaves a residue behind that leaves streaks and what not

.A little goes a long way. It will make your guitar shine & be slick. The more you buff it the better it looks. Use a polishing cloth or use an old cotton T-shirt like me for polishing

.I use it every day after practicing/playing and it keeps my Fender guitar looking new.
Fender Guitar Polish
.I like it because it really works good.

.This polish is great. It really brings out the shine of my '99 Stratocaster. Well worth the price. The only thing that I didn't like was that this doesn't really get rid of scratches too well.
