Product Features

With sound and style tough enough to rock a chicken-wire-enclosed stage, the Deluxe Roadhouse Strat is the perfect instrument for tearing it up all night long. Packed with a wideranging variety of tones, ranging from tough, wiry single-coil spank to a high-output sound that’s perfect for searing leads, this guitar is versatile enough to handle anything you throw at it with style. It’s the perfect instrument for a performer who demands sonic flexibility and the ability to easily switch sounds at the drop of a hat.

Three Vintage Noiseless pickups offer all the clarity and articulation you’ve come to expect from Strat pickups—with no hum. A six-position V6 switch disguised as a tone control and preamp offers 6 extra tonal variations, without compromising the classic, slick look of a Strat. An S-1 switch concealed in the volume control bypasses the preamp for rich, traditional pickup only sounds.

Enjoy smoother travel when using the tremolo bridge, thanks to the modern two-point synchronized design, which includes bent steel saddles for classic aesthetics. A contoured neck heel and 4-bolt asymmetrical neck plate make it easy to comfortably reach the upper registers of the neck. The flatter 12”-radius fingerboard makes it easy to play fast leads and perform deep bends without fretting out.

Locking short-post tuning machines provide increased break angle at the nut for buzz-free playing and enhanced tuning stability, along with quicker string changes. Classic aesthetic touches include nickel/chrome hardware and a three-ply mint green pickguard, 3-Ply Black/White/Black on 384, along with aged white pickup covers, control knobs and switch tip.

Fusing a near-infinite variety of useful sounds with classic Fender style and upgraded modern components, the Deluxe Roadhouse Strat is the guitar for guitarists who want more from their instrument, at an affordable price. Includes gig bag.

I took up the guitar in the 70's and played casually for about 25 years, before life got in the way and it fell by the wayside. Last year I decided to pick it back up and go with a decent quality electric, rather than an acoustic this time around. I've always loved the Stratocaster sound, so I perused the options before deciding on the Deluxe Roadhouse Stratocaster. The ability get so many different sounds in one package was the deciding factor, along with the price point. I have to say the quality of this particular instrument was surprisingly good to me. The forums make it sound like "Made in Mexico" guarantees you're getting a piece of junk. This couldn't be further from the truth. The fit and finish of this guitar is every bit as good, if not better, as the American-made 1978 Telecaster Deluxe I had in high school. Set-up was good right out of the box. The action is light and low and the tone is classically Strat.

If you're not hung up on getting a US-made instrument, try the MIM models. Great quality at a great price.

.Great guitar and an amazing value. My Olympic White Strat came in tune and intonated. There was one fret that was a few milimeters higher than others (only noticed because I dropped the action lower), took a minute to set up and then she was a dream. I own several American Teles, Strats, and Gibson Les Paul's, this is (with my head down) my first Mexican made Fender. I'm not gonna lie, it's darn good! The big thing on this guitar, and why it's a little more pricey than the typical Mexican Strat is that the electronics are flat out better. Vintage Noiseless pickups sing through my Blues Jr., and sound just plain mean through my AC15. I'm not one that adds guitars to my arsenal often, but I played this one a few times before pulling the trigger and each time I was reminded about the fact that a good guitar is a good guitar. The S1 boost button is cool, nice and hidden so it isn't annoying or takes away from the normal look of a strat. The finish on the neck is great (more of a satin finish versus a high gloss) - this is a plus in my opinion as it feels more like my higher end American guitars.

A real treat to play and will join me in the road this summer.

.The switch choosing pickup combinations and pre-amp gives a good range allows for a more mellow-full tone option. Interesting addition to a strat. Sound is as expected. The Neck plays well. I'm happy.

.This is my first strat. I opted for the deluxe flavor because I wanted 22 frets just like the American made models have. I went with the roadhouse because I liked the pre-amp 6-tone dial. I found that I don't use the different tones in the dial all that much and just leave it set to the one that I really like most of the time. I probably would have been just as happy with the deluxe, but I wanted the copper finish. The copper finish is much darker than what the picture shows but it looks amazing!! Much better in person than in what the picture shows (picture looks more orangish). I have a heck of a time keeping the thing in tune. I've read a lot lately and found that this is a very common issue among strats with floating trems. I got some big bends nut sauce and some elixur polywebs and seems my issue might be resolved for the most part. The maple neck/fretboard feel amazing and solid. The contoured heel feels great when playing the higher frets. The look of this guitar is just stunning!! The noisless pickups sound great! No hum, but also probably less output than say the Texas Specials. I would buy this guitar over again, no question!

.I have 4 diff FENDER Starts. they all have there own voice...But this one is outstanding. This Roadhouse is in the front of the line. I purchased the copper version. Its a little darker than the photo , but its beautiful.
I like it better than the American Pro Model.
