I have to say Fender has nailed this new Rumble. I have classic Fender tone in a small lightweight combo. I can keep up with 2 guitars and a drummer and still cut through the mix with ease. This will be my main gig amp for small venues and rehersal. It can even be used for larger gigs thanks to the xlr out and just run through the PA using the amp as a monitor on stage. Fender hit this one out of the park.

.I tried this amp at a few stores, and really liked it. And I was getting worried my old GK standby was getting pretty rough around the edges. After reading all the great reviews, and a surprise influx of cash, I decided to take the plunge. I couldn't be happier. I've tried it with all of my basses and it sounds great. The filters are cool, especially the "vintage" filter. I'm really thrilled. I play mostly in Jazz combos, big bands and as a pit musician, and this thing fits the bill. And did I say it's really light. And reasonably priced.

.An outstanding amp! This completely redesigned Rumble 100 is a totally different amp from previous models -- a very clean amplifier section with superb sound, all the features I need, and in a very lightweight and transportable package. In the store, I played several models of this new series and overall was quite impressed with the sound quality and price.

My needs for this amp are a bit unusual. For larger venues, I use a Markbass Jeff Berlin amp (absolutely top notch). However, for small gigs I was looking for a more portable combination amp for both upright bass & jazz guitar. This Rumble 100 turned out to be the perfect choice.

The stock Eminence speaker is actually pretty good. However, I wanted something a bit clearer and cleaner. The recently developed Eminence Deltalite II 2512 neodymium speaker is appropriate for both bass guitar applications as well as for PA systems. I completely agree. It's like my Rumble 100 woke up and cleared its throat!

I slightly modified the cabinet by stapling in some R13 fiberglass insulation inside and also filled and sealed off the two ports, so I now have a fully sealed cabinet. The internal volume of the cabinet is less than 1.5 cubic feet -- within the recommended sealed enclosure specs for the 2512 speaker.

I now have a very portable 20 lb. Fender amp that sounds nearly identical to my rather old and heavy Polytone... and I can play either bass or jazz guitar through this amp and sound absolutely fantastic. The new Rumble 100 is a terrific amp -- especially with an Eminence Deltalite II speaker. Highly recommended.

.This Amplifier Lives up to its name and rumbles. I was looking for an amplifier to use for at home practice and small venue gigging this amp has done the job and a bit more. The Amplifier has plugs for XLR inputs on the back has ports for hooking in a line in so you can jam with any music you have on your iPod, iPhone, or mp3 player, there are inputs of sending and receiving effects.

All amplification knobs are clearly marked and there are 3 settings of sound countouring, vintage sound, and brightness effects.

Overall this has been the best Amplifier I have purchased within this Price range minus my Vox for my Electric Guitar

I am an older musician who needed an amp that sounds good & is easy to carry (22 lbs). I play bass in a 15 piece dance band - I needed an amp loud enough to balance the other 14 pieces in our band. This amp has no problem being heard with this larger group. I also love practicing at home with this amp as it has a earphone plug and aux. plug to use with my computers drum sounds. I also play at church with a MarkBass (2) cabinet amp with a separate head. Of course my 100W Fender Rumble Bass Amp doesn't compare to that amp - but then I don't have to move it either. All in all - I am very happy with my

.At age 64 my back could no longer take lugging a heavy amp around and lifting it in and out of the trunk. Thank you Fender for the Rumble series! The Rumble 100 has the 12" Eminence speaker, is MUCH fuller/fatter sounding than the Rumble 40, and weighs just 22lbs. I played it with my 20 piece Senior Big Band in a large hall and it EASILY filled the room at 1/4 volume. It's LOUD. My Precision Bass got a perfect sound with NO DISTORTION with all tone controls straight up (notched.....nice), no drive, gain at 10 o'clock, and both contour and vintage engaged. The last 2 immediately gives me the sound I want......what could be easier? All the features and the low price make this a great value. Thank You Fender and Custom Guitar's Friend.

I picked up the rumble v3 for our deployed chapel to replace an old behringer combo. I knew I would have better sound quality, but wasn't expecting much more. I had only intended to use it for a stage monitor and put the signal from my DI pedal to the house. Not only does this combo sound Grrrrrreat! But it also pumps out some serious volume. It can actually carry the sanctuary above a (gospel) drummer without being in the house. The fact that it's very light is abonus too. I'm going to pick up one for my music room when I get back home.

.I'm a blues/rock bassist and have been playing for about 7 years in multiple bands and have had my share of jam sessions, and this amp is amazing! Literally, it is so light I could pull it out of the box like it was nothing! As soon as I plugged it in, I was blown away with the sound. It definitley has that "thumping" sound that we all like. I would deffinitley reccomend.

.Great little amp, great price. Fills the venue with warm, rich tone at a very reasonable price. I would buy it again.

.I am a mainly a guitar player that switched to bass and play in a 3 piece rock band. This amp lived up to all the hype. It has great sound, enough volume for a small to medium sized gig. I used the line out and ran it to the board and used the amp for an onstage monitor. It is super light so transporting it is awesome. Fender did a great job with this amp. I will be getting the foot switch so I can control the overdrive from the floor.
