There are a few things you need to know about this guitar: 1. It is made in China 2. The maple back and sides are laminate. Now, FORGET BOTH OF THOSE THINGS BECAUSE THEY DON'T MATTER. This guitar is gorgeous, and worth every penny. The quality of my practicing since getting it has only suffered because I continually stop playing to look at the maple back and the rosewood binding and gloss finish. As beautiful as it looks, it sounds just as nice.I ordered my Fusion 14 Maple from MF as a blemished model and saved lots. At that price point my easy decision on this guitar was turned into an unequivocal no brainer. My guitar looks new and any blemishes are so small or inconsequential that I don't notice them. It still had that new guitar finish smell when I opened the box. Since I have received it, I can't put it down (except at the moment while I type this). After ordering, I got a little worried seeing some negative or ho hum reviews on this model or other Cordoba guitars. The guitar I received is as perfect as a guitar at this pricepoint can be expected to be. The frets are nice and not sharp as many reviewers have said, no adjustment is needed on the truss rod or action. The only string buzz can be attributed to my mediocre fretting at times. I have not plugged it in yet, so no opinion there.
I know it may seem that i am gushing about this guitar, but I am really that happy with it. If you are looking to add a nylon string axe to you arsenal, this fusion between classical and steel string is a great choice. I am very happy I started looking at Cordoba guitars and zeroed in on the Fusion.

.Just got a brand new, fresh from the factory, Cordoba Fusion 14 Maple Acoustic-Electric Nylon String Classical Guitar Natural and I am in love!! I already had a Cordoba C10 CD/IN Acoustic Nylon String Classical Guitar Natural which I love too. However, I needed a guitar for playing live gigs and after researching the best woods and pickup systems, the Fusion was my choice!! And what a choice!! I played it in my basement relatively loud and no feedback issues. The sound is a little brighter than the C10. I am really looking forward to performing with it!!! Thanks Cordoba!! I had to wait a month to get my Fusion, yet it was all worthy!!! Thanks to Benjamin Johnson of Custom Guitar's Friend for all his advise and assistance on this purchase!!!

.Of my many guitars, this is my first classical guitar. I was concerned about the neck size compared to my other acoustics. The size and fit of the guitar is excellent as is the wormanship. I am not big on needing to amplify it but the sound unamplified is sweet.

.Quality built. Very comfortable to play as I could hit certain notes easier than on some of my other guitars. I loved the way it felt. Then I plugged it in to my amp and was very disappionted with the sound. It was not nearly equal to my old Ibanez AEG10NE. I tried all settings on the guitar and amp, but could not get it to where it sounded good. Maybe it was because it was a restock. The price was great, and I was hoping for the best. Anyway, I reluctantly returned it.
