If Ibanez holds the most iconic name in metal, then the RG is certainly the guitar that built this reputation. Every inch of this classic screams speed, fury and expression. This RG's mahogany body, dressed in a white pickguard, and sharktooth inlaid bound rosewood fingerboard, make for a clean, clear, visual statement with a touch of a throwback vibe.
All good, but this axe goes well beyond skin-deep beauty. As the originators of the thin, fast neck, the Wizard III represents yet another achievement in player comfort, comfort that translates into maximizing player performance. Factor in proprietary Quantum pickups for a wide palette of thick, distorted tone textures and the ultrareliable Edge Zero II tremolo and you've got a guitar that's every inch a pure metal machine.

First off, this guitar is super nice. Out of the box, its set up pretty good for any style of playing. I play rock, classic rock, Metal, blues, alternative and this guitar delivers. Cleans on it are nice and crystal, the dirty dirty it spits out is nice and uniform and even sounding. It stays in tune perfectly, feels and plays like a great solid built guitar. I would buy another, and I do recommend it to anyone who wants a quality guitar. Only bad and its a small bad, is the 17-21 fret wires need to be evend and dressed slightly, on mine it had a tiny issue with fret buzz, but its not a big problem. The pickups are have a very wide vocabulary. This guitar can play ANY type of genre of music without a problem.Ibanez RG450DX RG Series Electric Guitar Starlight Blue
.I got the deep violet version 450dx. The body and neck are very nice. Ibanez included an extra trem spring and a very detailed user manual. The trem is just an Ibanez Floyd knockoff but to me its better than the Floyd special that come on many guitars in this price range. That's the good. The bad and the ugly are the pick ups. In a word they stink. Really tinny and dead. I don't regret buying the guitar but I could have gotten a Jackson or LTD for the same money and gotten a more usable guitar.
