This is a great guitar for the price. The only things I had an issue with was setting the zero point on the tremolo and the springs on the tremolo made noise. If I did a dive bomb when it returned to zero point the springs would make a clunk sound. Very annoying but I think it has gone away after some use. I would think the factory would setup the tremolo but how can that be done when the strings are not stretched either? Anyway no big deal if you know how to do a setup. You can't beat this guitar anywhere for the price. I'm pretty happy with it. I've had Jackson Dinky guitars and Ibanez RG and JS guitars and other then maybe new pickups sometime I'm happy with this guitar. I would buy another one of these in a second.

.Overall it's a decent guitar.
This guitar is just an okay guitar for someone like myself. I like to play a lot of different tunings.
The build of the guitar has great quality compared to a lot of other guitars that I have played and owned before. It feels right. It's not to heavy, not to light. Doesn't make your back sore after playing for hours on end. Which is always a plus. The neck is pretty smooth but not the smoothest. That's just my opinion. The headstock is sleek and makes tunning seem a little more simplier than a standard tune key like on a Gibson or something such as that. The Trem it's self works flawlessly. My guitar never come outta tune no matter how many dive bombs I throw into one run or song. Which as we all know is a plus.
If you are strapped for cash and don't mind the lock tuning, than go for this guitar. Somewhere down the line you might want to replace the Pickups. But that depends on what your set up is. I've heard people complain that the pickups suck but they sound great through my set. Which is listed above if you are curious.

.I love this guitar and I would recremend it to any hardcore guitar player.
The neck is extremely comfortable and perfect for shrailing on. It has a slick feel to it and is good for fast playing. The thing I dont like about it is the lock tuning. I like to putmy guitar in different tuning and that is really annoying to have to deal with but its all personal preference.
The pickups are perfect for metal. My old guitar is a Fender Squire strat, a really cheap one too. So I wasn't expecting how good the guitar sounded. I loooove it. The clean isnt bad at all either.
I think its amazing for the price.

.I needed a backup guitar but didn't want to spendmuch money. This guitar was perfect. After a setup it plays like my $800 Epi! Pickups are not great but given some drive they have a nice mellow lead sound so whatever. Buy Now!

.Let me start by saying I got this guitar for about 100 really. I had about 120 in backstage pass points and I bought it as an open box item which saved me about another 100 . There was supposed to be a minor scratch on the top and back of the guitar, but I'm not sure what they'r talking about because I have yet to find a scratch.

This was my first floyd rose, so I did not know what i was getting into. It took me about two days to get the bridge flush with the body of the guitar and the strings tuned. After I finally did, I plugged it in and it sounded awful. Unpleasent tone, dull and muddy all around terrible sound. I shouldve just changed the strings to start with but i was anxious to play. But a string broke on the second day so i changed the strings, so i had to do the whole process over again (I changed gauge strings so bridge was no longer flat w body). once the strings settled it sounded much better then originally, but i still wasnt happy with the sound. The intonation was also off so the low e sounded out of tune on the higher frets.

About a month later I had a Dimarzio Super distortion pickup installed in the bridge and a Paf Pro in the neck, and had the guitar set up by the local luthier. Now it has lived up to all my hopes and dreams, Its my baby. I play rock, blues, ska, and anything really and it sounds great for every genre ive used it for.

So it has the potential to be a great guitar, but you have to be willing to put money in it. I payed about 100 for the guitar, about 85 for each pickup, 50 to have the pickups installed and another 100 to have the guitar set up (he charged more because of the floyd rose). So overall I payed about 420 (ha) to get the guitar to my liking. I am very happy with my purchase, but if i had payed full price for the guitar (i think its 329 rn) I would not be nearly as happy. (it would have costed me 650 for everything then).

my advice: CHANGE THE STRINGS IMMEDIATELY BEFORE SETTING UP FLOYD ROSE AND TUNING

Great guitar for an affordable price. The stock pickups sounded a bit muddy so I replaced the bridge pickup with a dimebucker and it sounds absolutely beautiful. I'd definitely recommend this to someone who plays hard rock/metal

.This is about the best guitar you can get for $300. A few people said that the Floyd Rose goes out of tune and either I have an older model with a different set-up or they don't know what they are doing. The Floyd Rose on mine is great and it never goes out of tune. It takes awhile to get used to changing strings and adjusting the bridge to your tastes (if you don't know what I am talking about DO NOT get a Floyd Rose guitar because you will spend a ton of money on labor at your local guitar shop).Anyway, for the money this is a great guitar. I use mine over my Epi most of the time and I paid twice the money for that one. I like it too but I can drop this one and not really worry about it.

.i have owned this guitar for about 6 to 7 years now. i love the fretboard on this thing. i can play all bodom solos with ease /m/. its never given me any problems and the hardware is pretty durable. the pick ups do sound muddy through a high gain amp, but if you have the money to put better pick ups then do it! this is a great guitar for any starter and advances players
