I bought the this guitar over 4 years ago and its still my favorite guitar over an ibanez. My only complaint is that the treble pickup is a tad overwound. But that is a minor issue as all you do is roll off on volume a bit and your good. I highly reccomend to any beginner guitar players. .The EC-100QM was the first electric I ever bought, and to this day I have not found a guitar that feels more comfortable to me than this one. The pickups have a really beautiful tone if you use them through good amps and stuff like that, and the neck has the most amazing feel ever. If you're looking for a guitar to start playing metal, this is definitely a great way to go!

.I have multiple guitars including a gold top les paul and a RR series jackson and i would rather play this esp ec100qm than both of those. the neck feels great and the pickups sound find to me, much better than the emg camo set in my les paul. Very good buy, i havent had any problems with the tuning, bridge, pickups, or anything, this guitar has worked perfect for me. i did have to adjust the truss rod a little but that is it.

.great guitar for the price! i bought one for 240 and i love the guitar! the stock pickups are pretty good.it is a tad hard to tune but overall its great. i bought the darker sunburst and it looks great too! good job ESP!

.I once had a MIA Fender Stratocaster and this guitar has the same playability. I should say that right out of the box, you'll probably need to set the intonation, but that won't take too long. The guitar does seem to need tuning a bit, but you can upgrade the tuners. The factory pickups seem fine to me, but my amp is a Marshall. Anything is going to sound good through a Marshall. I thought a guitar with Humbuckers and the playability of a Strat would cost an arm and a leg. This guitar is a good buy at the price. I would reccomend it to anyone wanting a new axe for a low price. You could easily spend a lot more and not get as good a guitar.

.For [a reasonable price, MF didn't let me post it] you're getting a guitar that looks and plays like one of a much higher value. With stock pickups this guitar has bright, crisp cleans and when cranked pulls off just about anything. The finish looks spectacular as well. I bought mine a couple years ago in the black cherry and the maple top just looks gorgeous. I originally planned on swapping out the pickups but never got around to it because the stock ones sound so good. My only gripe, and this is common with most high gloss guitars, is that the surface is easily scratched but it's a player and not a collectible. Out of all of my guitars, I tend to grab this one and plug in. It's a well balanced and beautiful instrument.

One of my cheapest ($) guitars but is the one I use all the time. The factory Pickups sound ok clean, but muddy with overdrive or distortion. I change them for a pair of seymour duncan seth lover SH-55 and it sounds grate. No problem with the hardware but might change the tuners and the saddles. .This is my third guitar I own and by far the best for the price. The two volume knobs give it a huge tonal range when you use both humbuckers. The see thru cherry fininsh is amazing. The sound is perfect for metal riffs. High distortion doesnt sound the best on this guitar but oh well. Super easy to play.

.My first rig was a Kramer Strat copy(which was complete garbage). This was my second guitar, and it changed my whole persective on playing. First off the action is low and the frets emit no buzzing. The Duncan designed pickups are high output and they seem to find every single ounce of sound out of the strings and your playing. Hook this up to a metal master effects pedal and the feedback from your amp comes in like a tidal wave. Now..with that said, the clean settings on the guitar are just Ok, and playing anything else but Hard Rock and Metal on this guitar, doesnt work at all. But for the price, you can afford to buy other sound specific guitars. I bought mine almost 7 years ago and it still inspires me today to rock!
