Nevermind the price and nevermind the review (nearly everything on this website has at least four stars anyway). First of all this guitar cannot stay in tune. For supposedly 1000 value guitar this is completely unacceptable. Bixby tremolo is only for the looks and nothing else. The smallest use will make the strings go out of tune. Second the resale value is non-existent. Nobody will ever give you more than 200 for this instrument if you even find a buyer. Thus unless you are sure that this is what you want to play to posterity you will be stuck with mediocre instrument that perhaps looks good although it has this irritating BCRich inscription. No wonder it is periodically on sale.

.I expected more out of a BC Rich product. Of course, it's been over 30 years since buying my first Warlock guitar but I must say the solid and durable feel gotten in earlier days appears to be a forgotten memory. I returned the thing.

.My wife got this for me on stupid deal of the day, what a bargain. It's very versatile and works with all varieties of music. This is the second B.C.Rich I've gotten and like'em both.

.Just plugged in and tuned. Handles great up and down fret board. Lots of kick. Action was set fine for me. Pickups are a little dirty, but that is why we have knobs on our amps. The B.C. plays as well as my Fenders and Gibsons at 1/4th the price. Very pleased.

.I want to say right off the bat, that this is a fantastic guitar. The tones that I have achieved thus far range from blues, to early Priest. Think "Sad Wings" tone.

The Tremolo so far for me has been a love/hate thing. I love the looks and it functions pretty decent however, my low E and A go flat from only a slight wobble on the bar. As another review had stated, there is a slight issue keeping this guitar in tune. I am hoping that after the stock D' Adario strings have broken in, this issue will lesson. Time will tell as it has already been a good solid couple months with limited play (couple hours at most per week).

I would recommend this guitar highly "IF" it is on sale. If not, wait as it often is reduced in price. It looks gorgeous in person, pics do not do it justice!

.my catalog arrived 2 months ago,and i spotted the hot deals of the month pages, and this guitar was on there for 399.
i've loved bc rich for years but was always sheepish about buying one because the price points were low end which i took to mean they are of little quality.i admired them for boldly building super radically shaped body designs.
so i bought a warlock "revenge",and liked it.i started to become a believer, and saw so many changes through the years .the names bronze, platinum, etc. were gone, and masterpiece appeared.now they are gone, and the braintrust at research and development jumped to mid/high level pricing.they were always the "chrysler" of the guitar industry in that you got alot of bang for your buck.body binding, grover tuners, rockfield p/ups,etc.
so i ordered this and "WOW",what an amazing piece of artistry.the metalflake paint is just phenomenal, and "a bigsby" ?,perfectly set up out of the box.
the sound is all solid and "THERE" ,i truly thought the sales guy was bsing me when he said wow, thats a great price these are usually 999..so i called back to talk to a different guy to hear what he'd say,and i got the same answer,he also added that he was going to buy one.
i was convinced and ordered it.when i unpacked it our other guitarist was there and we just stared at it in amazement.he dug around in his pocket and had 200 and asked me to borrow 200.,and order him one now.
we went online and it was now 599.,so i couldn't help him.within days it was back to regular price 999.,which is still a great price.
it will be a collectible,so don't hesitate .....BUY THIS GUITAR !!!!!!

.I like everything about this guitar other than it's not staying in tune. I took it to a tech and had the grooves in the nut widened a bit and that helped some. I'm hoping with a little time this issue will work it's self out. I'm still going to use it for one set at my gig tonight.

.i am more of a collector then a player, so my review is more of a value assessment then anything else, the guitar is very well made, i do think that upgrading the tuners is all you might want to change, the pickups and all the knobs and switches are awesome the body and neck are solid, guitar has a nice balanced feel and a very cool design, the collector in me loves the stupid deal of the day price, i dont think that i would purchase this guitar at the normal price at this time, the value of this guitar will go up in time, so as a investment of the sale price you cant go wrong, so if you want a awesome guitar that sounds and plays great, i would recommend this guitar at the sale price to anyone..............PEACE

.My wife loved the look of this guitar and spotted it on sdtd.I've got one other BC Rich and its been a good player, so seeing the price and the mark down for stupid deal,I thought why not?Got it yesterday, so I'm going on my first impression.I can get several different sounds out of this from clean & twangy to growling rock.It plays very easy and as far as staying in tune,it's got a Bigsby, which is for subtle use, not dive bombing. I probably played an hour to one and a half hours last night and after the initial tuning and retuning for the first ten minutes, it stayed in tune from then on.Even checked it before writing this reveiw and it still holding the tune.Good player, beautiful, and lots of versatility. Thanks BC Rich and MF for another great buy.

.WHEN I SAW HER FOR THE FIRST TIME , I WAS BLOWN AWAY ,WHO MAKES THIS ? NO WAY ,I THOUGHT THEY WENT OUT OF BIZ.

I PLUGGED HER IN AT THE MUSIC STORE ,AND COLORED IT WITH A CHORUS ,FLANGER , AND OD /DISTORTION, AND TESTED HER CLEAN, TO MEAN AND ALL IN BETWEEN .MINE WAS IN STOCK AND I TOOK HER HOME SET IT UP TO MY LIKING ,AND SWAPPED THE 9 GAUGES TO ERNIE BALL POWER SLINKYS 11 GAUGE ,STRETCHED THE STRINGS HARD AND LET IT SIT OVER NIGHT ,THEN TUNED HER UP AND PLUGGED INTO MY PEDAL BOARD ,AND BLEW THE ROOF OFF THE HOUSE .

AN AMAZING GUITAR THAT WILL BE BURIED WITH ME.IT'S A GAS TO PLAY AND SO PRETTY.SUCH CLEAN ,STREAMLINED LOOK ,AND NICE BODY CONTOUR AND ARM REST,I JUST CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT IT.

GO BUY ONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!
