This tuner did not work well for me. First and for most this thing was not accurate at all for me. The meter bounces back and forth from sharp to flat. I read a review that said "finally a tuner that doesnt have to make up its mind" and I was really looking forward to that cause the KORG tuner I have has been acting weird lately. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed. It worked ok for the first 10 min, not great but ok. I was doing a string change when I first used this on a floyd and by the time I was almost finished I had given up on this thing and gone back to my other tuner. I bought it for all the good reviews, maybe this ones just bunk I think i'll get a replacement and see if that works any better, but for now I gotta give it a 1 I was extremely disappointed. .This is my favorite clip on tuner. I still love the snark clip ons for the money but the Boss is just one notch above. The only con is that the head doesn't swivel like the Snark tuners but this really hasn't been a problem for me. If you like clip on tuners this is the one to get!

.My first clamp on. Good, no more cords, ambient noise interference, etc. I like that the clamp force is just right. Strong enough to stay on your instrument, yet not so tight as to leave marks. Easy on off switch (also shuts off on its own). Now my other tuners are going to sit in a drawer-this one is just more fun to use. I like the visual "reward" that occurs when you nail the tuning-that is the motion lights traveling from both sides to the center. Ok, it's just a tuner, But I still feel it's a successful product. and well made.

.I'm doing experiments with different concert tunings (A437, A442, etc), as there's a different effect on the ear/brain between the different "A's". I've been interested in this ever since I learned that 'A440' is an arbitrary 'standard' in effect; historically different bands/orchestras used whatever 'A' reference they chose, not necessarily the same as each other's. Most tuners don't allow one to tune to anything but 440 'fork-A'. I bought this tuner because it was the only clip-on I found here that can tune to one's concert pitch of choice. The display-colors/layout are in the cooler blue-green-yellow range, so they are easy to read on a dark stage without being ostentatious. This tuner doesn't really clip well on Tele/Strat headstocks (or my Carvin w/ 2+4 tuners); you can use it, but it isn't likely to stay there long. This is a more substantial, and more versatile, tuner than other clip-ons I've used (Snark et al).

.This tuner visually is beautiful and easy to use. When you are in tune, you can see the indicator is very accurate and easy to see. In some cases, you can leave it on, even when you put it in the case because of it's round low profile. Another excellent Boss product.

.This Boss tuner is accurate. It also has a curved shape, and I can close my guitar case and leave it on. It low profile, and does look like the dish on my roof from a TV service provider.

.Very good and excellent for fine tuning. I have 6 guitars including a electric classical and it works great on all of them.
I have a cheap Fender headstock tuner and a Planet Waves . They are not even close to the TU-10 and unreliable when used on different guitars.
Works independently with amp.on or off.
The Boss fits on all types of headstocks, has a nice display with a good auto shut off.
You do not need a pedal tuner if you have one. You can carry it in your pocket and the price is right.
