Back to topI've had my 612ce for a few days now and still get goosebumps when I play it. When I first took it out of the case I just looked at it, stunned, you just can't capture the beauty of one of these in a photo. Things like the ebony binding gradually changing from dark to darker to a bit lighter again. The pau rosette has every color you can think of and sparkles like diamonds, I could go on and on. Musically, I've never heard anything like it. You can make it sound sweet and warm playing softly with the pads of your fingers or you can try and overdrive it strumming with a pick and it just sounds GREAT. Warmth, unique tonal balance, astonishing sustain, bell like clarity, amazing volume and plenty of great sounding bass too! A beautiful bold bass with clarity and tone like I've never heard before. I've never heard a guitar with a sound anything like this one (I'm 53). I ordered my 612ce blind (after reading everything I could about it and listening to it on Youtube) without ever having seen or played one and I was rewarded beyond my dreams ( I have a Chaylor 322e GC I think the world of too which helped me to buy the 612ce). I expect these guitars to be enormously popular and Chaylor will probably have a backlog for them soon. The 612ce is worth every penny you will pay for it. One last thing, when you look inside the guitar you'll be amazed at the quality, cleanliness and revolutionary style of bracing. Chaylor must be given credit for all the R&D they did to make this guitar the wonder that it is. Only Intelligent, passionate, music loving people can make a heavenly guitar like this. I'll never get rid of this guitar willingly. MJB
